People have been friendlier and more supportive to me on this board, alone, than in real life......THAT isn't saying much! :wizard:

Aside from Todd, that is true here too. The people on this thread are some of the most amazing people I have met! (Or not met, as a few of them I haven't met yet.)

This is a very impressive thread!! It should be renamed "The Milestone Thread", me thinks! :teeth:

And, I am getting an education here! ;) I don't know anything about Scotts and Irishmen.....obviously! :rolleyes2

i can tell you that germans and luxembourgese don't mix well.
at least back in the old country.
my gfather came over from luxembourg and hated to be called german.
go figure..........he changed our name not to sound german

scotts and irish, hatfields and mccoys...............differences never mattered to me. i like them all.

and we all love little miss momma............we went thru the baby lottery and i lost. i think she held out for a better offer on that one !!

that's because i told you some time back come play with us here.......
you fit in just fine. as long as you are yourself and can joke and get weird like us, its like fitting a glove on a hand.

of course now one of the guys will give a similiar comparison and it won't be a hand .............

keisha has also come over to the dark side here. you have crossed paths with her before. she has dogs

Blah -- that's the last time I buy "cappachino" from our cafeteria machine. :crazy2: :crazy2: That's some really bad :surfweb:

well, there is your first problem....you bought cappachino! :teeth: Speaking of...have any of you tried the coffe/coke called coke blac? It is gross!!!!!!! Just to let you all know...i had a bad taste in my mouth for hours after i tried it...i didn't even want to try it because i am not a coffee drinker and knew it would be gross!

Man I leave town and you people chat night and day. The boys are still sleeping and once they are up we are back on the road to Dallas (Frisco). My poor dh has to print out his own boarding pass tonight--he will be lost. he isnt very internet savvy--except on the sports and betting sites :teeth:

Just the thought of coffee-flavored coke makes me want to hurl. :scared: :scared: I like coffee, I like coke (well, Diet Coke), but mixing the two?

May the road rise up to me you & the wind always be at your back:sunny: .

Always thought that orange irish was for the protestant irish among us. DH's family calls themselves black irish, because of dark hair (spanish invaders?). Regardless, everyone's Irish on St. Paddy's day. Never had a Guiness, anything sounds good right now...mimosa anyone?

Feeling loopy, I haven't gone to sleep yet (how much suduko can 1 woman do?) Had to wake DS up every hour last night - poor baby's head is wrapped up like a mummy, hope the hearing comes back soon...can't imagine he'd pass a physical for policeman w/that problem. He's bummed out, insisted on being taken to school this a.m. to take a test, hope this plays out well for him or he might be looking @ a new career choice - crap.

cool outfit ed, but it has the wrong team on it!!! :teeth:

did you guys see that the USA is out of the world baseball now!?!? Wow, and to get beat by such a team!!!! :sad2:

Deena--i know they all are chatty today....i am having a hard time keeping up with them, because I am NOT chatty at all!!! :rolleyes1 :teeth:

I hope he doesnt have the problems you did in Jan. Then he would really be lost.

So, what's up for the weekend everyone?

Saturday night's our annual neighborhood progressive dinner party (adults only -- the boys are heading to grandma and grandpa's in PA for the weekend :thumbsup2 ).

Last year we did a Newlywed Game theme -- this year, it's Pictionary. :thumbsup2 So Saturday afternoon, after meeting my folks for breakfast to drop off the kids, it's off to the kitchen for me to whip up some appetizers for our group. We divided the 10 couples into 3 groups (so we don't go to 10 houses) and each group is given something to make -- we're the first house so we're appetizers. :thumbsup2
