test Part 7

Stand corrected, I am speechless & sad.

Middle DS, the budding cop, had a half day @ school today. Spent the afternoon w/college buddies home from school @ the mall. They went to Dicks (sporting goods store). One kid was swinging a baseball bat, not knowing that my baby was behind him. Guess who got hit in the head? ER phone call, concussion w/cauliflower ear & hearing loss (hopefully temporary)...sigh.

He is the one I worry about, always in the wrong place @ the wrong time. Has been struck by lightening when holding a chain link fence during a baseball game, struck by hit & run driver while riding a bike, passenger in a car which rolled over & been temporarily paralyzed by a helmet hit while playing h.s. football.

Not sure if he has a black cloud hanging over his head or his guardian angel is working OT but, I wish I could lock him in his bedroom & keep him safe.

He's all doped up & sleeping, don't think I'll be doing much of it tonight though.

Always thought that orange irish was for the protestant irish among us. DH's family calls themselves black irish, because of dark hair (spanish invaders?). Regardless, everyone's Irish on St. Paddy's day. Never had a Guiness, anything sounds good right now...mimosa anyone?

Feeling loopy, I haven't gone to sleep yet (how much suduko can 1 woman do?) Had to wake DS up every hour last night - poor baby's head is wrapped up like a mummy, hope the hearing comes back soon...can't imagine he'd pass a physical for policeman w/that problem. He's bummed out, insisted on being taken to school this a.m. to take a test, hope this plays out well for him or he might be looking @ a new career choice - crap.

I bet that is hard for him not to be able to tak the test! Especially since he wants to be a policeman so bad!

Tell him to move to Nebraska...he would have NO problem being a policeman here....their are some that make you come to their car so they don't have to get out of the car! Who knows what they would do if they had to actually chase someone!! I guess they would call for back up to one of the more fit policeman!

My plans for the weekend. Well, tomorrow, I have a soccer game then Im taking the kids to lunch then off to the mall to VS to claim my free thong.

Sat. we are going to get out early and go to lincoln to pick up noah's glasses and do a little shoping then come home and let it snow, snow, snow!!

Nothing to much on Sunday! I didn't plan to much this weekend because i am restricted with my glasses on! Next week at this time i will be on my way to lasik!!!

Tonight we are going to the local minor league hockey game (Maanchester Monarchs) with Chris's school. Tomorrow we are going shopping for a Dishwasher, doing some house cleaning and Sunday we are going to my Inlaws for Dinner.

Thats awful! I dont think I would be so forgiving either. That was just a stupid thing for that other kid to do. I hope your ds is better very, very soon.

Somebody recommended the Bosch Dishwashers to me said they are great and the only way you can tell its running is because it shines a red light onto the floor below it because its so quiet.

I'm still trying to cope with the fact that next Aug this big yellow monstrocity is going to pick up my baby at my house and drive away and almost 7 hours later drop him back off at home.

I am excited that I don't have to drive to two different schools, though.

that is how i got to school when i was little.........although my bus driver was my aunt...she let us get away with EVERYTHING!!!!!

The first week will be hard, but after that it will just be a routine....i can say that now...well until aubrey goes to school!

It wasn't that hard to send trent to school, because he only went 1/2 day. To send Noah to school though was awful!!!! He went all day everyday! He changed SO much when he went to school....not my innocent little Noah anymore!!
