It's Silver Day, Friday and the start of the weekend....

I think hubby might meet me after work and head to TGIFridays...got a couple bonus bucks to spend there and a gift card, so it's like a free meal!! and I really don't feel like thinking of anything for dinner anyhoot....sounds like a plan huh?

Jules, we are trying to pull together a meet in April...think about it! The more the merrier!!

Ok, back to regular scheduled work.........Bob, you are on the golf countdown now....... I'm with Adam, the closest I'll ever get to a hole in one is on the miniature course....they would throw me off a golf course, for digging grass up on all the greens instead of hitting the ball

Bob--so sorry to hear about your friend! Hope everything is okay with him? Is there anything they can do for him?

I didn't see any sausage served up...all i saw was bacon!?!?! So how can you play hide the sausage with no sausage? see, i can act innocent when i want to!!!!


We can plan the baltimore meet with no airfare! I am watching it now...hoping a sale comes alone, but i am planning to be there on friday in the evening!!! I should have bought air when it was $170 because now it is at $230!!! So i will watch it awhile longer in hopes it goes down again!

Bob--so sorry to hear about your friend! Hope everything is okay with him? Is there anything they can do for him?

I guess it's probably just a matter of adjusting some of the meds he's been taking -- apparently a couple of them didn't seem to agree with each other. He's supposed to be fine, it's just his doctor being extra careful.

It's that same extra careful nature of the doctor (who, like I mentioned, is our family doc as well, plus a close friend) that led him to go the extra mile with DW a few years ago. If he didn't, he might not have done the blood tests that led to the CT scan that led to the biopsy that led to DW getting disgnosed early with her Hodgkin's. So it's hard to fault him for being extra careful with all his patients.

The above story is why he's the godfather to Ryan.

There are tons of hotels in Baltimore, Im not worried about that. But Im not booking a hotel if no one shows up. Then I would be in the hotel all by myself. Well, Im sure I could coax someone into staying with me.

See I love those kinds of doctors that goes the extra mile! That is how my doctor is too and i love that! I hate those doctors that act like you are taking up their time. In my town we have one big dr. clinic with 8 doctors. We go to any of them but 3 of them... two of them act like you are wasting their time and the other one is just....well has awful bedside manners if you know what i mean.

I am actually taking trent to the dr. today because he woke up with a ear infection...well that is what i am thinking anyway!

I am coming!!! I will book airfare if it will make you feel better!!! I know mic will be there...and adam said he is coming too. Other than that i am not sure!

Our doctor is the complete opposite of that -- he'll take the extra time to really find out what's going on, talk with you for as long as you need, the whole nine yards.

Granted, it means there's usually a backup in his waiting room, but there's when the bonus of him being a personal friend comes in handy -- we'll just call ahead and find out how far behind he is and time it accordingly.

I hope Trent's ok Ear infections are no fun.

Hmm, I don't know if I'd even be able to go . We have a mandatory conference one Saturday every April for work. I know it's the 20 somethingth this year, but I'm not sure of the exact date. I'll have to check when I go back to work on Tuesday.

that is how my doctor is too! he will come in the room and sit and just talk to us for 5-10 minutes about anything then he will look at whoever is in there to be seen...we can usually plan to be there for atleast an hour when we see him, but in my opinion it is worth it. Trent isn't seeing him today...he is seeing a friend of ours who is awsome with kids!

Thanks...he always has had ear problems...ever since he got his tubes when he was 4 he has gotten alot better though. It seemed before tubes we were in there every couple weeks getting more meds. cause it wouldn't go away!
