Some low points on the trip. I really didnt see very much of my "other" friends as I would have liked. But, you know, it really goes to show you who my true friends are.
On Mother's Day, TVT ws helping get Sammie off the Mexico ride and he had my diaper bag. Well, his glasses fell out of the bag into the water. These are prescription trifocal lenses with some designer frames. Wicked Expensive.
Then, I think it was Wednsday, I went to go fill up at a gas station. I handed the girl my credit card and proceeded to fill up. When I went back to sign the credit card didn't work. After spending an hour and a half with the credit card company, I come to find out the card is defective. The numbers on the back of the card match the code in the magnetic strip. Well, apparently mine didnt match. All the credit card company can do is issue me a new card. 7-10 days.
The problem is, the gas company didnt want to wait 7-10 days to be paid for the gas i just filled up with.

I thought about stripping for money, or begging for money, but I had my 1yo and 3yo who had been waiting to see Bear In The Big Blue House for what was going on two hours.
I called Tony, apologized perfusely, and asked if he could come rescue me. Without hesitation, he came to my aid, then even accompained the girls and I to Bear In The Big Blue House.
Thursday Morning, Tony, I and the girls had breakfast at Ohana. It was a wonderful breakfast, and the girls ate quite a bit. They loved it. Anyway, I picked Sammie up to leave and realized that Samantha's shoe had fell off. So I went over to the side away from the table to put her shoe on. Well, i got up, went to the table to see if the diaper bag was still there. It wasnt, so I assumed Tony had gotten it. Well, we got to the car and realized he hadn't grabbed it.
I ran back in to find it. 45 minutes later and no bag. I explained to everyone that saw me that my life was in that bag. Finally, the lady downstairs told me if they find it, they will mail it to me. "No you don't understand, my licnese, money, AP's..literally, my LIFE is in there." "Yes, we'll defiantely mail it to you if we find it."
I went back out to tell Tony what happened, and he told me to wait with the girls in the car. It's nice to have take charge friends sometimes. Tony goes into the restaurant, bypasses the podium, walks over to our table and walks back into the kitchen. He said, "Listen up, I am missing a diaper bag and Im NOT leaving without it. I need the last 7 people that were in this area rounded up and questioned until it's found." 10 minutes later, he was walking out of the hotel with my bag on his arm. "Let me hold onto this from now on."
BTW did I mention that his new glasses the ones that he had just gotten replaced because the ones he lost were still missing on the Mexico ride were in that diaper bag as well.
There were a few others, but overall, the high points defiantely outweighed the rest. And as I said, this trip, I truly learned which friends would be right by your side through thick and thin.
