It is going to start being a busy day here too.....all schools are out today!

Last week of soccer Saturday afternoon (again, weather permitting )

Texas Hold'em Tournament at my parish Saturday afternoon/evening (weather permitting -- nah, just kidding )

Sunday, Nicole's off to Silicon Valley, CA for the week -- yep, another single Dad week (although at least this one, MIL will be in town to help with).

Good Morning all.
I dont think we are going to get Baseball in tomorrow we are getting rain today and they canceled last nights because the fields were too wet to play so this rain isnt going to help.

My Squirrel Free Couch (you have too pay extra) is a blue sectional 3 recliners built in, now that the floor is done and we have some furniture in the room I'll take a pic of the completed room.

No definitive plans yet........ds invited a friend over tomorrow for 'burgers on the grill, so I might make some other picnic fixins to go along with it.

DH's poor old truck is once again on the blink.....I told him NO MORE putting money into it, so we MAY have to be truck shopping...it will be torture as it always is dealing with car sales people....plus we will not be talked into spending more than what we can right now afford or want to spend......good thing his new job is in town....walking to work has not been crowded for him...LOL...

So, an uneventful weekend I would say. It started out pretty this morning, but is cloudy and actually pretty cool this morning. Has spritzed some rain off and on. Hope for better weather next weekend, as we will have a family picnic to attend for Memorial Day.

tonight I need to go and get stuff for aubrey's hair for pictures tomorrow and then we are just going to hang out and relax.

tomorrow aubrey has dance pictures at 9:30, noah has his soccer game at 11:30, then trent plays ball at 1&3 or 2&4 depending on when we are getting the field ( they scheduled 5 games for 3 fields--someone say duh?!) and finally we are off to my sisters for my neice's bday party.
Sunday trent plays ball at 2 & 4. I am thinking of running to lincoln before his game because I have a lot of things i need to take back to different stores and don't know when I will find the time with all the upcoming baseball games.

They finished all the framing, most of the electrical rough-in work and, I believe, they were building the bar today. Plumbing should be next week, then drywall. I should take some pics and post them.

Okay, I am frying today...it is 88 degrees right now and I refuse to turn the air on...i know dave will come home and shut up the house and turn it on, but i can't do it...it isn't even Memorial Day yet Nothing like going from 50 degrees out to 90!! Where did our spring go? I love it when it is in the 70's!

All the home improvements sound wonderful....

The "friend" is an old high school chum.......he has graduated college also and works for a company that makes computer games. He is my "computer" ace, when my son gets stumped and we need "real" help with any computer issues. He is very smart...it's nice to have him to ask questions.

Friday is almost over, well the work part anyway....Monday I will no longer be a temp, but a regular employee.....

So, when does Momma come back? Some of the others in that group that was meeting up are back.......Deena, have you heard from our Momma?

It was around 61 degrees today, and it felt it. When the sun was out, it was nice, but very breezy and cool...then it clouded up a bit also...Pam is going to send her 88 degrees out this way.

I'm so tired this evening, I think I'll take a little nap then watch TV..or try anyway.......

Funny story, we have this guy at work, who you never ask how he is, unless you have an hour or so to listen.. well, he is out with something or other going on with his insides...and all I can think of is this smilie........ in relation to him....... When he called in today, he said they were keeping him on morphine til Sunday..well he acts high without it, so I can imagine what he's like ON the stuff.......
