School's out early for you guys...bet you are counting the days mac...what, no summer school?

Went to the basement to check on the laundry & there was a giant, killer squirrel chattering @ me . This is the 2nd time in the last few months...squirrel home invasion, film @ 11:00 P.M. lol

Last time panicked & called DH home from work to catch it, no deal this time. Don't think you can use that excuse too many times, sounds like a variation on the: my grandma died, again.

Loews sells "live" traps (as opposed to "dead" ones?), off I go. Wonder what you bait it with? Don't say nutz...hopefully peanut butter or dry dog/cat food.

All I can say is my pets are on notice, you'd think between 3 cats & 2 dogs, someone could step up to the plate. take me away, I hate dealing w/varmits...even spiders creep me out.

ex is an exterminator - hell will freeze over before I ask him for help.

just got back from my running and i have to say.....i LOVE malarie being here! She keeps me young....she was telling me stories about going out...oh to be young and care free again.....


Noah got a social studies award! They are doing a walk at 3pm. today because they will be leaving this school to go to a different one...ours are set up in 4 different buildings... K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. SO, trent will be going to middle school next year and noah will be at Hayward...oh where does the time go?

Wow, Pam gets an extra 40 minutes beauty rest x how many days the kids are out on summer break.......waaaahhhhhhhhh..she'll be prettier than the rest of us......waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh....its not fair...MOMMMMMMMMM...Pam is cheating.........

hey, i am playing by the rules.....there is NO where in the rule book that states that you can't sleep in after school is over!

oh and P.S. they are losing

The injuries are piling up over there time for Georgy Porgy to open up the bank vault and go buy some other players.

So happy your guy got an award, that is great for him.....move up day is what they called it here...I have no clue what they do anymore at school, haven't been involved in those activities in a long time

KS, that sounds like some squirrel invading your base ment..I agree with Pam, knock the little sucker out.......sissy pets you have too....
Not much on creepy crawly things myself...the co-worker that I work with (ya know the one who is never here) is terrified of a mouse, bug or anything, so I'm hoping the mice we have pay her office a visit.

Glad to hear your couch is squirrel free. Ours is too but I was thinking the squirrel free thing was just for us southerners. But we have some lovely armadillo couches.

Its a busy tv night here. I had to tape the last That 70's show and I decided to tape the last Will and Grace. I didnt watch it a lot but I would like to see how it ends. Im watching CSI, then Without a Trace and tape ER.

It sounds like I watch a lot of tv but really all the shows I like come on the same night with the exception of Greys Anatomy.

friday, the fun day of the week. the day that every one tolerates and skips out early from work on.........unless you are a teacher. can't get past 34 kids without getting noticed.



yesterday was a flop day. surgery didn't go well. it bombed. he cut the duct but the stone is imbedded. have to go for an xray to find it and try again. and if that doesn't work, then its the big H i think the anitibiotic is doing the trick now. it is better.


wait, pam is another one that couldn't just walk out the door if she wanted to leave work early. her job is at her house. oh no........



no sign of sweets yet? i thought this trip was a short one.

ed - squirrels are an "option" on couches. What color did you get?

muffycat - happy birthday to Danielle youngest son had sleepover of 6 boys last year - they screamed like girls & spilled lots of pop on my carpet - sigh.

pam - congrats to Noah! My DS's team won 3rd place yesterday - supposed to get a $100 savings bond - nice addition to very meager college fund.

micky4ver - sic the varmits on co-worker - she'd probably scare them off though .

4greatboys - we got to see armadillos @ Kennedy Space Ctr - they were everywhere (like squirrels?).

Stupid squirrel, keeps springing the trap grrrr! Hope he doesn't crawl off somewhere and die in our ceilings or walls.

Off to buy oldest DS his very early bd present, tires...bank of Mom.
