I will tell you, Teppenyki for lunch was a great deal. Lee got the seafood dish and sushi appitizer and ice cream for dessert. The whole meal came to over 50 and it was only 1 point.

Yachtmans was really nice. Lee got the lobster and porterhouse steak, ceaser salad, and i think chocolate cake..it was really good.

Artist Point ahd the best dessert. Lee had spring rolls (very good), salmon, and the best cake...YUM.

Narcoosses - Muscles, surf and turf, and expidition everest for dessert

Nine dragons was good. He had a spicey beef dish, hot and sour soup, and cheesecake for dessert. It wasnt the best value, but he liked it.

Then at Crystal Palace, he just ate the buffet. He said there were a few good things, but really, we were just trying to get into MK early that day, so we got the earliest meal so we could get right there. That isnt a good value and unless there is a schedule conflict..I wouldnt do breakfast.

We talked to two others that said they ran up some big bills at Captn Jacks and Planet Hollywood. Those are also only one point each. And I read Alfredos was a good deal.

Where are you planning on eating?

Now, the food at Wolfgang Puck Express....YUM! It is sooo good. They have the best brownies ever. And a really good ceaser salad. YUMMY!

I didnt eat at all. I ate at Wolfgang pucks twice.

Oh Mac - Lee ate at Tangerine Cafe and that was a GREAT value too. And he said the food was pretty good. I do want to try Grand Floridian Cafe, it looks yummy.

I almost did eat at Mexico, but then Lee wouldnt have been able to eat at Artist Point, so I skipped it. Let me know how that is!!! And CRT..let me know how lunch is there.

i have been to san angel inn three times before with the boys and we did the lunch there.

the food was so good, depending on what you ordered.
the service is slow and the wait staff wasn't the best.

the last time we were there, it took 15 minutes for our waiter to give us the bill.......something like $75.
i went up to the manager and told him it was ridiculous for us to wait that long fr the bill. he then took the bill from my hand and said, its on the house. that was something i did not expect. we were getting antsy and wanted to hit the rides at epcot and was ticked the wait was cutting into out party time.

dinner has a different menu there so want to try it.

Looks like you got out of Dodge right before Ophelia (not that the wind wasn't blowing there during your visit!) . Glad to see you and Lee had a wonderful time. This trip they are eating at Le Cellier, Beaches and Cream, Yachtmans Steakhouse, Prime Time Cafe, and Ohanas. I think some of us are sneaking off to eat at Mama Melrose and I know I want to eat Lunch at Captain Jacks one day. They have a really good dessert that I want to try. YUMMY!!!

I knwo Deena is eating at Earl of Sandwich, other than that, we dont have much planned for lunches. I'll get Lee a brownie from Wolfgang pucks..he loved those.

Mac - Tonys for lunch looks really good. I was thinking about going there one day too. But then Lee wouldnt have been able to eat a Narcoosse's.


You think Disney will ever post this package again? We added up the food that was eaten and we basically ate the amount that we spent on the hotel and tix. So we broke even!!

If they run this deal next year I am defiantely taking advatage with the kids. It was too good of a deal to pass up!!!

oops saw your post just when i was about to leave.

i really don't think they will repeat this deal. in fact, it goes up in price jan 1 06.
i stay in the value all stars in value since it is so cheap........can you say $49/night....
they have the higher tax 12% being in a different county.
the dining plan there come january will be $40.89 a day per person.
price increase will be $5.


tonys has the best steaks for dinner. and great service inside.
todd and i went there before.
i picked places for the steak/prime rib for this trip......


it is low attendance time for the period the myw free dining is happening.
aug 25 - oct 4
with last years hurricane, many are not booking for sept and they are having low crowds from what i read on the other boards.
a cm told me when i called that disney is trying to get people to try more of the resturants and this promo is packing them in to places that don't book fully daily.
their view is try the resturant on this promo and see what it has to offer, fall in love with the place and become a repeat customer in the future on your nickel........

there was talk on the dis last month about having the promo again in january after the holiday season ends. this is probably the lowest attendance time there. that would make sense but i think they would limit the resturants then as price increase kicks in.

I was thinking about that too. But I wonder, if I book a room just in my name and a dinning package just under my name, and maybe for one kid and then we all split meals, I would think that might be worth the dinning plan. Otherwise, I dont think it is worth it at all. It is just too much food. No one person eats that much.
