well, saw son, took him his table and went out for chinese.
then his phone rings and its a female.
after i left they were going grocery shopping together.


as long as she stays nice, it is okay i guess. shes' not the one for him.

we watched the Lone Ranger tonight on DVD........my big $1 find at Wal-Mart...LOL.........we laughed cause we couldn't believe that as kids we thought that the Lone Ranger was so "it" back in the day........too funny

so, mac, the son has a friend? well, that is nice, and even if she isn't the one, its company for him.........grocery shopping? does she cook? that may gain her some points

Well, I guess as mom's we never think "any" gal is good enough for our boys....but you have to accept them at some point.........I'm pretty fortunate though in that overall, I love my DIL.........sure, she irriates me sometimes..........and I probably do the same to her, but she is a good wife and mom, and she makes son happy. I could have done a lot worse, and I have TWO beautiful grandsons that she has contributed to..... So I'm thankful for her.........as I say, I could have had a lot worse............but I think I trained him pretty good and was pretty sure he would make a good choice in a mate.

The Dis is acting squirrely tonight, so don't know how much I'll be posting.......talk here is we might go to the movies tomorrow....make an early trip though as we may go to BIL's tomorrow night for eats and to ring in the New Year............I find New Year's depressing.......just means I'm another year older.........

Well, the boys are leaning towards King Kong....but I'm really not too kean on that one.............so don't laugh, but we're thinking "Narnia".........we like Disney flicks, so maybe that will be it..........to tell you the truth, I've gotten so settled in this week, the thought of having to dress to go anywhere is depressing....... I would like to see Memoirs of a Geisha, but that is such a girly flick, I'm sure I won't see it til it hits the movie channels.........

Comeon now mac, you gotta be a little giving with the gals your son's bring home..........give em a chance at least..........remember, WE were the one's brought home to Mom once upon a time

i don't plan to see narnia, i read the book years ago and the author tells the story as he perceived it when he was 8 and read the book.
also, tired of hearing all about narnia and we should go see it from the pulpit each sunday at church. if the preacher wouldn't preach about it, then i might have gone. all of my boys saw it and really liked it.

they also saw king kong. they liked it but said it is long, almost 3 hours.
the ending is different on this remake.
sons said to me 20 minutes could have been cut off the movie and it still would have been good.

flip a coin mic and tell me which one you will see. i vote for the geisha girl one. i like chick flicks.

and who knows what the morrow will bring, we might all get up and say to heck with it, we are just staying home..........or go on New Year's day.....I think that would be better...son wants to go to Costco and I'm thinking with tomorrow being party night, it will be busy.

Im really bummed out today. Three of my brothers and nine of my cousins are going to Time Square tonight. I really really wanted to be there. But Lee didnt want to go and he wanted me to be with him on NYE! I really wish I hdnt come back. Todd said he would have gone to NY too. I'm kicking myself!
