actually, i was back last night but for some reason my computers were down and couldn't get on.

I went to the post office this morning to get our mail and my bday present was in there!!! just want to thank you guys soooo much...you guys are the best!


We had a great time and my kids were not ready to come back. they were in the water so much i think they grew gills


gant--that is awsome about the promotion! I am so happy for you! If you need someone to go to the yankee game with ya i am sure i could find someone

mic--glad you got the stitches out...i bet it will feel better in a few days.

mac--hope your ds is going to be okay...lots of milkshakes in his future.

ks--when are you going on your little mini vacation?

tony--glad you kept these guys in order!

ocm--glad you had a safe trip.

ed--I am so with you about me having to lose weight!!!! I think i owe someone money here....we need to figure all that out.

bob--sounds like a very cool trip for cam! hope he had a good time.

I don't know how much i will get to be on....i think my internet company was having issues last night and today. My laptop is still down and dave will be taking it in on monday...i am hoping to borrow my in-laws until i get mine back. the boys computer will work but it is soooooo slow.

We have our little gal staying the night with us tonight...she and dh are eating popcorn and watching a movie.....we live in a very small town, and we have a bookstore (if you can believe that) and everytime a new Harry Potter book comes out, they have a whole evening of stuff down the street til midnight (when she can sell the book), so they went down to that for a while...I did not go......HP is not my thing........I was a good girl, I called my mom and we gabbed for a good while.

Ok, I'm tired, I slept horrible last night, so I'm off to watch TV....(translation: fall asleep)

Morning all........it is a glorious morning, temps are nice, no humidity, shaping up to be a great weekend! Don't have to run air conditioning.

Mac, I made it to around 10 and I was out like a light last night

We had our little gal guest last night...she and I are going on a girl's only trip to town this morning. I need to get her brother a birthday present and she is gonna help me pick it out. We then will head over to their house to return her to her parents and also go to our little guys 6th birthday party...wow, doesn't seem possible. Think I will take my buggy to the car spa and get an all over job done on her.

it is winter again here.
right now it is 59 degrees but was 50 last night.

Very late Saturday check in (no, i didn't sleep in - actually had the laundry done by 9:00 a.m. ).

bob - we shall just take a drive over if we get there in time (Marblehead); state park site states they give tours until 4:45 p.m. Woe be it unto DH or DS to whine, they'll get their time @ CP the next day. Found a website that states that Castaway Bay sells after 5:00 p.m. tix @ a generous discount; might check that out. Indoor wave pool & coaster? Hotel didn't thrill me, nor the reviews of the other onsite ones.

good luck with the beetles, we've had them bad too - rose bushes hit hard...worst of it is the near hundreds each day I have to scoop out of the pool. They clogged up one of the hoses - yeeeech. Seems to have slowed down at bit, least i hope so - good luck.

mic - Marblehead lighthouse is on lake erie, from what i gather - there are several different ones on the lake; just a tiny one on Presque Isle in Pa & you can't go into it. Nice pic of the lighthouse, where is it located? I used to have my bathroom done in a lighthouse theme, now it's mostly a mish mash . Did buy a counted cross stitch years ago, still sitting in the package - someday. Hope you enjoy your party! I had to go retreive DHs HP book too today. Now all i've gotta do is finish the 1st 6 and i'll be all caught up.

pam - u r very welcome! Hope your trip was fab - tell us all about it (with pics I hope).

mac - too early for it to turn cool on you! It's close to 80 here, didn't last a 1/2 hour on the tennis court (course i'm so outta shape it's comical).

finally got my internet up and working...not my laptop though

mac--i have had problems with this laptop...i think this last one is going to be the same problem that i had the last time...i think it is the motherboard but we will have to see when dave takes it in on monday.

ks--i will download pictures when i get my laptop back. I don't want to download my pictures on my inlaws computer.

mic--how was the bday party? sounds like you had a good time.


the only thing that i have done is laundry and lay around today. i have a killer headache so i have bummed....it actually feels kinda nice. Dave took the kids out to the ballgames that our going on in our town so i had the whole house to myself. i WAS going to clean but decided it was better to bum around.

Well I wasn't really making fun of the red sox or the cards, I just like to say that about the sox because i like the Mets...more then the yankees, but if they're playing that who I root for, so I'm not one of those "I hate the sox" yankees fans. I just like to kid around like that.

there are all sorts of different opinions here...some like the blechy sox the cards, the astros, and the best team of all the yankees i may have forgot a few...i know my dh is a royals fan....don't laugh!!
