Hello everybody.

My vacation is next week, nothing much planned my do some daytrips into Boston or the White Mountains. Get some small jobs done around the house, I'm on vacation not workcation.

went to trent's game today...i feel soooo sorry for him...he can never get on a good jaycee ball team...the stunk it up again today think the final score was 16-1.

working on the cutest baby contest i got pawned into doing. have to go set it up at walmart tomorrow. Hope I do okay...first time i have ever been incharge of something like this. I need to go empty out all the donation buckets sometime tomorrow too...that may be a family ice cream night job


ed--i agree...you should do nothing but lounge around....do to any thing that looks like work....although...you better come and visit us while you are on this said vacation

mic--i know what you mean about the insurance companies. I will be thinking of you next week

ks--my kids love HP. I think we have every movie that has been out so far. Have I watched them all? No, but i have seen a few of them.

mac--i agree wit you and ocm...i like working out but it is finding the time to do it that i lack.

Think i am heading for bed. I think aubrey is done crying herself to sleep it was one of those nights where she was sooooo tired but didn't want to go to bed so she had to make us all miserable.

AM I AWAKE????

Opps....I goofed. Went to the dentist yesterday for a procedure and he told me to take Advil for pain. Well after I was home an hour or so and the numbness
started to wear off I went to the bathroom to get the Advil. Well SURPRISE....I was out.

So I hop in the car and run down the street to 7/11 and grab a bottle. Got back home, took 3 Advils and got on the couch. Well guess what??

I didn't buy Advil...Nope....I bought ADVIL PM !! That explains why after about 20 minutes I went to my room and fell onto the bed! I was dead to the world sometime shortly after talking to OCM at 7 last night!!

Lee spent the mortgage money while he was in Disney..so I was wicked mad. I worked out extra hard that day. I have to say, it helps with stress.

I am so exahusted. I was going to try kickboxing today, but I may just do th eliptical instead. I'll have to see how I feel later.

Ed - enjoy your vacation! It sounds like it will be fun.

Mac - your right. Once its gone there isnt anything I could do about it. At least now I am prepared for the same thing to happen when he goes to New Jersey for the wedding.

Pam - I hope Aubrey has a better night.

Mic - You know, it was either that I was going to be in a bad mood all day or I was going to need to kick my own butt. I opted for number two, since I have kids and all.

Keisha - I dont iron or hem. Is hemming what they do to make the pants shorter? I find it fastinating that people know how to sew and iron. I know how to take everything to the dry cleaners.

TVT - Did you make it into work this morning? Were you able to eat anything, because I am sure you woke up starving.

I came in early again today, so I figured if I have to come in early to make up some missed time, I'll just play for a while All the managers are off to a meeting out of the office this afternoon, so from 10:30 or so on, it will be nice and peaceful around here...well except for the construction

Pam, Dylan had a couple of those meltdown "I don't want to go to bed" episodes while we were visiting. Yep, over tired, over stimulated, over everything brought them on. Both the boys are getting so big and I love seeing the changes in them. The little dude can talk ! He amazes me how much he knows and what he says. Did I tell you the oldest one directed us out of the airport?

Ok, well, almost time to turn the phones on and start the day...I'll be by later

ocm- takes names & kicks butt? you go girl, i want you on my side in a rumble. I'm far too cheap to pay someone to hem our clothing. Hate paying for drycleaning. I do like to iron men's dress shirts though - light on the starch.

mic - you are a diligent employee, make sure the boss knows you're coming in early - always good stuff for annual review. Do you have to stay off your foot for any amount of time after the procedure?

pam - wrinkle release stuff is a life saver in our house, i never leave home without it.

mac - @ curves?

my mom's acting up a bit (usual before a trip, then another blow-out once we're gone in the chance we may come home...one year she was convinced the dog had rabies . I dread calling home each day.) Asked me if she calls 911 while we're gone & goes to the hospital (for one of her phantom aches & pain episodes )will we come right home?? I put that notion to rest in a hurry; told her the next step is assisted living if she doesn't settle down & get with the program as to moving around each day & doing basic stretches. Guess i'm now the 'bad daughter'.

Ah well, what's a 'lil vacation without the usual home-field stress ?

Hey KS my nephew just moved to Pittsburgh, he is renting a place somewhere there. He probably wont be there long, this kid has got gypsy blood in him. Since he graduated from college 3 yrs ago, he has lived in NYC, LA,NH, Nashville and now Pittsburgh. He is thinking of going to college for film anthropolgy(thats what he graduated from scholl with a Film Major) in Stockholm he would spend a semester there, a semester in Barcelona the next in Dublin and then in Stockholm again.

tony, i hear ya about those pm pills.
i couldn't sleep at all last night. i was on late night watch for something.
at 2:30 this morning i took 2 tylenol pms.

cat woke me up at 6:30 for food. got up took care of that.
started to make coffee and the head was pounding. went back to bed, which is a first for me, finally got up the second time at 9:45.


have had a pot of coffee and now awake.







i'm not taking that tylenol pm again. i lost contact with my world and still in a daze. i feel your pain tony. hope the teeth feel better now for you..


ed, wandering nephew. can only do that type of stuff when they are young.

keisha, you have your hands full. maybe if you tell mom your cell phone will be off for certain hours and only on when you call her in the evening, that will help. are you getting excited for your trip to the motherland yet?

I'm not so much a diligent employee, as I need to make up a few hours of what I've had to take without pay Won't recoup it all, but some of it. I've offered to work thru my lunch 1/2 hr., but she says "no, cause people take advantage of that"...well, if I work thru my lunch, I AM WORKING, cause I have to answer phones etc...if I come in 1/2 early, I can stretch that 1/2 hour out and really do nothing...ya know, saying good morning to everyone, putting my lunch away, going to the ladies room so she would actually get more out of me by letting me work thru lunch.....whatever...I haven't minded heading in a little early, and on a morning I don't want to, I won't...

I am tired this evening though, couldn't go to sleep last night (is this something we all are catching ) so now it's catching up to me. Anyone watching America's Got Talent? some of those people are hilarious on there...I DVR it so I can FF thru a lot of it.

Thanks for the support, i need it. Working on a beer slushie think i may be on to something. None were cold in the fridge; bit too tempting to keep it on ice with a soon-to-be 21 year old lurking about . DH put a few in the freezer, said i needed to take the edge off -- who me lol? Let them marinate a bit too long; whatever...i've drunk worse before.

ed - welcome to your nephew. Wonder what part of the city? Lots of cool & trendy neighborhoods...then there's the boring/safe 'burbs where i dwell. Make sure he has a Primanti's sammich (never was a finer creation made). If he's a party-er; tell him to haul on over to the south side & have a yard of beer...his choice - Iron City beer is just plain gross, won't drink Rolling Rock now that's they closed the plant in Latrobe either.

Did get the desktop back, all seems just ducky . Trying to load everything back on. Had a fit when i found out I lost all the songs on the various Ipods. Taking forever to download them; i'm not fond of flying - they soothe me.

mic - think you're still working thru the time change; did catch the end of the show - it's growing on me. Jerry springer is quite charming?? Thanks for understanding; it's wearing me down.

mac - i'm trying to get excited; once i'm on the plane i'll sorta relax. I like the idea of having pre-set phone time (you r so smart).

and then tell her you only have 5 minutes as you are next to jump into the shower. it worked for me for one i had to call a lot last year.
