I guess we are going to the CWS tomorrow. Dave got box tickets from work...we will be on the 1st base line 9 rows up

not much going on today.
day in, day out, it's the same old routine.

today i actually vacuumed the living room.
i try to do something productive each day so when i do fall asleep at night or early morning hours, i can say to myself, well, the day wasn't totally shot.......

Good Morning everyone. Back from Chris's Soccer game, they won 3 to 1.
Last night we went to Chunky's Cinema Pub, they have it set up with tables and chairs that are leather bucket seats from cars that recline, they have a full Pub type menu and first run movies. We saw Fantastic4 Silver Surfer movie it was much better than the first.

Hi all, happy Saturday....

I overslept a tad, so I was up and outta here in about 20 minutes time...had to drop poochie at groomer, get the car serviced, Sam's and then Wal-Mart...bring all that stuff home, put it away, then back out again with dh to pick up poochie. We stopped at Arby's and had a bite to eat on the way to groomers. Whew, I'm tired writing about it all...I ate too much and I'm over filled right now EDITED TO ADD: it was like a zoo at both Sam's & Wal-Mart...my ice cream was melting while I waited to be checked out.......ick on people

Mac, glad you are productive, my productivity of today I think will hold me for the weekend, as I did laundry last night...I just want tomorrow to be quiet...I'm grilling steaks for dh for father's day........

Ed, that place looks like fun....YAY Chris on the win

Pam, how was the world series? I saw AZ was playing, is that the game you were at?

Off to watch the Sox play for a bit and maybe take a little nappy

mac - tomorrow am DS has required interview w/priest to discuss his confirmation requirement fulfillment (or lack thereof - evidently, he's ranked #1 on community service hours, unfortunately lacking in 'face time' on Sunday imo, it's all good). Nothing more fun than squirming before a padre; builds charactar.

mic - it's always such a chore to download all the vaca pics; i've been afraid to check & see what i may have lost that i downloaded but didn't burn or send to photo storage before desktop fried. Need to clear off some sticks that we have, unfortunately card won't fit in laptops' slot & older computer doesn't have the capability. Tried Eckerd but; they only will burn a CD if you get the pics developed - too many for that. Anyone know if someone else offers just the CD process - WM perhaps?

busy day, got to feed the hungry throng - later!

or just say he always sat in the back of the church if the first one doesn't work.

community service is a great thing for the young people to do.
i'm very proud of him !

Mic--that was the game we were at. the 1pm game which was very HOT. we got back to the car and the temp. read 103.....very stinkin' hot. AZ pulled it out and won...they might be the team this year.

Mac--come be productive for me...i need to do so much with no time to do it.

ks--i have some pictures that i need to download too. I am bad at backing my stuff up until the last time that we had to take our computer in... that is one of the reasons i do like the old time cameras

ocm--how are you feeling?

ed--that place looks very fun. Hope you guys had a good time. Is Chris doing baseball this year?

We are headed out shortly to go to council bluffs for trent's ballgames. He doesn't play until 4:30 but we figured we would take dave out for father's day.

would you believe they have a sign up sheet in the back of the church to prove attendence for the kiddos? Now that is goofy. all this time i thought my church envelope was good enough.

pam 103 no way! Council Bluffs sound like an interestingly named place, any backstory on it's origins? good luck on the game.

mic - you seem to be catching up to speed just fine after vaca - usually takes me a month to get all the clothes washed.

fyi, had to make quick run to WM for dessert, didn't feel like heating up the kitchen for the gang to nosh on; clerk told me they do have a kiosk in photo dept. where you can burn a pic cd for a few bucks - yeah!

Crap on a cracker, it's been in the 90's here today, and yesterday was a gorgeous day weather wise...never 2 nice ones in a row....

KS, not sure about the pictures to a disc...you can burn your own photo cd, I do know that....I use Shutterfly to save my pics and get prints...or use the machine at Costco.....it is a little cheaper, but heck, with gas the way it is, it's easier to order them online and pay a tad more. They usually are here within a week if it is a good size order.

Our dinner was nice, it's out of the way. We as a family went together and got FIL a new small TV for his room, him and MIL don't like the same type of shows (me and hubby don't always agree either, so we have his/her TV's), so we spent some time visiting with them.

I want to just veg for the rest of the evening now, but have some laundry to put away, the weekend flew by and I didn't seem to get anything done.
