Oh...a tornado warning, that probably did roust everyone from their sleep, glad it was a false alarm. I would have had a hard time going back to sleep too. Soon it will be summer in full swing and you'll get those extra couple winks in the morning.

Momma, you will be back in full swing of doing all those "ups" and heaving heavier weights in no time. Remember, you haven't been doing it, so it takes a little reconditioning to get those muscles doing what you want them to do without hurting.

KS, you are such a good momma, but I agree, spend their inheritance, you and hubby worked for it

my 'lil darling's been spending her days in the back yard hunting snakes, really prefers being outside when it's nice...good riddance lol.

off to take youngest to dentist for a filling.

one summer it seemed like every other day we were going to the basement. It goes in spurts though...i'm hoping this is not the summer for alot of tornados...my kids get so scared when they hear the sirens. About 2 summers ago a tornado took out a whole town that was by where dave goes on one of his routes...he said it is an amazing thing to see how powerful those things can be. Hoping they stay far away from us

Nope, no shopping for me...and our company has provided us with shirts to wear now, with an emblem on them (they are sorta ok), so I don't really need any tops, I have plenty now that I don't wear my own every day. I do still love accessories though and after the 4th of July when all summer stuff starts going on sale, I'll be looking for some shoes. I loves me shoes!!

Ed, so glad to see you drop by and thanks for telling our 2 children here on the thread to play nice

I probably won't drop in til later tomorrow morning. I'm meeting the other 2 gals at work by 7:15 to head down to the other side of Baltimore for this funeral. We should be back at the office by 11. We have to allow extra driving time because I know we are gonna hit traffic.

Went to get my nails and toes done tonight, now the evening is over

Im going to the gym today. I really need to go shopping for some workout clothes, but money is a little tight thsi weekend. It sucks too becuase there is a kitchen table that is on clearence that I really want.

It's Friday

Rats vs Huntington, WV yee-haw, for last home stand. Funny thing, all year long the team's been coming out to rap music (of which i can take in verrrrrry limited doses) usually have a headache by the end of the game. I've been drafted to upload a CD for them tonight. Was told to go mostly urban...wth do i know about urban? middle aged white football mom from the 'burbs. My son's only request: Eddie Murphy - Party All Night only he would remember that stinker. I'm going heavy on the GAP band/SOS and uptempo motown. Can't wait to see the look on the teams' faces. Last week they had some redneck DJ playing Charlie Daniels (he wasn't invited back lol).

Since we leave near the woods, we have our share of critters - including snakes...novelty went out the window years ago. Even had copperheads (twice); police dispatched them once . Evidently, now they're protected and we had to call game commission to relocate last nest. Dogs catch several huge black snakes a year. Figured better to educate my kids which were ok to approach, etc. boys will be boys "no, you may not have it as a pet!!!!!).

Hope you all have a fantastic day & great weekend - think we may head off somewhere for a day or so depending on the weather & when work is summoned my better half back.

SNAKES ARE NOT PETS!!! I think my kids know better than to even ask. I would freak out if they even thought about that.

Glad you liked the movie. I didn't like the 2nd one that much at all. But, I will rent the 3rd one when it comes out on DVD.
