Hello all, we are back from our road trip to Baltimore...they can keep that place...too much traffic. Did get to go thru the McHenry (I think that's its name) Tunnel. Never been that route before...nice, short service. Our friend was doing ok, but still very heartwrenching to see her so sad.

It is getting warmer and humid here...glad I'm in the air conditioning. We keep hoping for early exit from this place today, but not sure I've been telling people on the phone we are probably closing early so no one will come in.

KS, you go girl, have fun making your CD...you will be invited back for sure GO RATS

My son actually got a small snake for the boys It will be secure in something when I get there if they still have it........We used to get lots of black snakes in our yard...the boys would put them in a paper sack and take them back to the river, same with turtles.......whatever...LOL A shovel upside the head of the snake works for me.

Ok, I really don't want to work now.........

Today went to hell in a handbasket at work...we got out a 1/2 hr. early. Office head witch was on the warpath cause she got HER **** chewed out, so she then proceeded to pass it on down the line...ya know that saying....sheet runs down

It thundered a tad, not sure what is up with that, sorta cloudy, but it is humid this evening..ick

Yep. Trent has a tourney in Omaha sat. and sun. but I am going to be a bad mom and skip tomorrow. My class reunion is tomorrow so I am going to do that instead. I hope it is fun and i don't regret going
I will go to the games on sunday though....i just hope i'm not to terribly hung over

i don't know when i will be able to post here. i can't focus my thoughts very well. my son was hospitalized last night and is seriously ill. the outlook is not good. you can talk about it in pms but not on the thread. i wouldn't be able to handle that.

i know you will understand.

Pam, have FUN...can't wait for the details...is it a dinner, dance, both or just a social gathering? How many graduates in your class? I went to my 20th reunion...and I believe they have only had one more since then, and I couldn't make it, it is in Connecticut, and they had it over Thanksgiving weekend that year in a way, I can see what they were thinking, lots of people would be back in the area visiting family, but it was not convenient for me, so I skipped it. Even at 20 years, the woman had aged better than the guys....lots of bald guys.. and what was really funny, some of the "hot" looking girls in the day, well, some of them had spread out a bit... Nothing wrong with that, but just funny that they didn't look like I would picture them looking.

It is HOT here...we spent the day sitting around our friends pool...and I must have sweated off at least 3 lbs...I hate to sweat.......ick......

I've encountered some family issues of my own this weekend, so I know what it's like to feel down It is nice to come here though and just throw out that things are not so rosey and know I have some friends that will think of me and keep me in their thoughts...

Must try and get some stuff done today...how was the reunion Pam? seems like you are sleeping in must have been fun!!

Morning all!

No sleeping in for me...we are getting ready to head to trent's baseball tourney today. I did have a great time last night and as you said...the girls seemed to age better then the guys. Someone made a comment on that last night. I think we ended up having 56 in my graduating class ( a couple of them did not graduate) as i think there was 58 or 59 in our senior picture.

I forgot my camera but if my friend emails some pictures like she told me she would i will pass them on if they are pass on-able

I went to church than out to lunch with the kids. I think today is going to be a day of rest and laundry. Tomorrow I am going to be at the gym at 8:30am for my weight class. I did do a little better yesterday. I could do two sets of 15 push ups, but I struggled with the last set. I will get there..I am determined.
