I experienced sim situation as DS back in the 80's when bank i worked for was acquired by bigger fish. They brought all their upper management peeps in, my boss (VP) got the boot/buy-out...told me that i'd be keeping same salary yet dropped back to exec. sec since the new big boy would be bringing his own assist from Phillie. Thought i could work around it, didn't pan out...missy thought I was angling for my old job back; wound up doing steno stuff. Quit, fought for & received unemployment benefits; not much of a victory; tends to take the wind outta your sails. Which is what i worry about jr; hard to juggle the 3 jobs...ah well, life always works out one way or the other.

Morning Everyone,

My last two days have been crazy, but today has calmed down a little. I went and did my workout today. I feel so much better now that I have fit the gym back into my routine.

Mic - hang in there with the extra weight. I gained two pounds, but I really think it's muscle and water. I think in about two weeks I'll notice weight dropping off me. I expect it will be the same for you. Give it until the end of he month and see where you are.

KS - that sucks about your sons job. I am sure he will be able to find something.

Pam - that is awesome about Noah!! I'm glad T will be done with those aweful coaches. It is so frustrating when you sign up your kids for sports, you just never know who you are going to get for a coach.

The defendant is accused of stealing thongs out of a drawer back in Jan 2006. While searching his apartment, police recovered thongs with the word "SWEET" on the back. They expect him to enter a plea bargin by the end of the week.

tony's doing the jail house rock

i've been hitting myself in the head with rocks all day, had to call abu @ Dell again...they wiped my computer clean; now i'm junking it back up

ocm - i've been hopping on the treadmill all day (off & on); everytime i got to the point where I thought i'd scream - seems to work. I'm not very savy as to exercise regemins. However, i'd think even short stints (10-15 min) have to have some sort of cumulative effect?

Hmmmm while I was in WDW with him he was walking around with an eyepatch on that said sweet on it? Kept telling all the woman "argghhh I'm Pervy the Pirate wanna see me mizzen mast"

Yes it's true...I'm in thong jail but I expect to be released by 5:00 p.m. Friday. I was caught red handed so to speak. I usually wait until the thongs are off before adding them to my collection. This time I was short on time and I took the thongs while they still had a young lady in them.

My lawyer says all the charges will be dropped and all confiscated property will be returned to me INCLUDING THE NOW FAMOUS "SWEET" THONGS.....

I'll lay low for a time and will continue my "hobby" Feb. 3rd.....

Ed....the eye patch was caused by the thong string snapping back and hitting me in the eye. I should have kept my glasses on. I'll know better next time....

KS, still thinking good vibes for your son. They hired another new person today, a female, to add to the sales department. I guess I'm just small fish right now, so they are keeping me on the back burner. Guess its more important to hire big salaries instead of worring about receptionists and the like. I guess what is sticking in my craw was the constant 'when we move upstairs you'll more time to do things cause you won't be answering the phone and of course you'll be getting a raise'...that I've been hearing for the last 6 months. I'll stay where I am, it was THEIR idea to have me move up with them, but if I continue with the workload I have, I want more pay. I do WAY over what a receptionist should be doing. Heck, I'm doing stuff that involves Excel and have been teaching it to myself as much as I can. Oh well, I will quit whining about it, does good to vent a bit and then move on....

I'm tired, hope I manage to stay awake for Idol, might tape it and watch Biggest Loser, I'm into that show right now

Chris got chosen to be in the Gateway Program at school. The teachers have to nominate them for the program and only 4 kids from his class of 20 something are going. They meet for an hour a day 2 or 3 times a week and they also have to make up any work they miss while away from his classroom. He was very proud of himself as were his parents.
