'Terramundi' Updated post #16

Great amount, never mind spends & extras that would almost pay for our flights, hotel and car hire if we go Nov.

That's great! :thumbsup2 I would never have the patience to wait that long, we have a change jar and I'm always counting the money in there!

Thanks everyone.:)

We were only budgeting about £900 for 'spends' as we are on the DDP and only doing Disney. I had thought we would need about £300 for tips, £300 for extras like alcohol and little souvenirs and £300 for spending money for the girls.

Our 'extras' so far:
MNSSHP / MVMCP £400
Photopass £100
BBB £68
Premier Inn £64

We also need essentials like ESTAS, insurance and new passports. £1280 is going to go a long way to ease the pain.;)

The plan is to start saving £2 coins again, starting mid-June. That will help fund our return trip to WDW in 2015/16.:thumbsup2

Congratulations - that's a great total. :thumbsup2

No wonder there don't seem to be many £2 coins about - it's all us Disers that have got them at home in savings tins! :goodvibes

That's amazing! Well done on saving all of that! I might start doing it too! :)

thats amazing u are going to have such a fab time , its always good when you have more then expected in the money tin !!!

!! im tempted to open my money tin now lol ( well just give it a shake at least )

I save £2 coins too but my tin never gets very many - probably because I pay using my debit card mainly!

That's a great total and I'm sure it will help ease your holiday spending.

Im so pleased that it was more then you thought!:thumbsup2
No wonder it took so long for you to get done counting.

Wow, well done! Fab amount saved! We did it a couple of years ago, we had around £600 in ours, it was our alcohol savings, we called it the Rose and Crown fund

An amazing amount, well done:cool1:

Have just taken it to the post office and it is now sitting in my Barclays current account. The first withdrawal will be for the kids' passports in two weeks.:thumbsup2
