what is that ride?. what does it do. didon't do it last time....we were not sure if the little members of our family would like it

It's a 3-D show. If you've never seen it and are a fan of T2, you'll like it. There are loud gunshots and scary looking robots galore.

It is one of the best "immersive" 3-D shows in Orlando! If you are even remotely interested in the Terminator movies, you will love this, if you aren't you'll still enjoy it.

An absolute must see!!!

Termanator is great and love how they use the live actors with the movie part.:thumbsup2

How little are your little ones? I don't think I'd take anyone under 6 in, but that's just me.

It is IMHO the best 3D show!!!!
It is well worth watching and I show I see several times whenever we visit. Very well done with the actor(s) from the movie, you can see from the effects that they had a good size budget and used it well!!

There's not another 3D show like it - we love it! We've seen it at least a dozen times, and each time the audience breaks out in applause and shouts at the end - it's that good.

It could be scary for the little ones though.

wow. good reviews all round. cool

the first time we went to Universal in 2005 I didn't get to see it but when we went in june I made it a must do and loved the termanator movies and didn't really think this would be good but quickly changed my mind and think its one of the best show Universal has.:yay: :yay:

I've got teenagers so I was wondering if it would enhance our experience to see the movie before we go? How about the movies that other rides are based on?

it is diffrent from the actual movie but love the movie anyway and it gives you an idea what it about so I say watch the movie and twister is based off the actual movie and in the movie where they have the twister at the drive inn is what you see in the ride.:thumbsup2

Yes, I'd watch the first 2 Terminator films. The 3D movie at US is kind of a sequel to T2.

Be sure and let them watch Men in Black if they haven't already! Ditto for the Mummy, Jaws, and E.T.

a personal fav:thumbsup2 ; nothing comes close to it for fans of the franchise.

you know your child the best, if they are sensitve, afraid of the dark, loud noises & you don't want to expose them to violent situations/gunplay - you might want to think about it...we never had any issues.

The Travel channel has a brief clip of it that's included in some of their older shows re Universal; might want to do a search to try & turn something up, or even Youtube (know they have bootleg spiderman ride throughs).

OT, a new terminator tv series starts in January:yay: ; hope it's decent!

Can anyone verify this? I read somewhere that once the Simpsons ride opens, Universal is closing Terminator to update the special effects or something to that affect (no rhyme intended, or something like that). Thanks in advance!!

Robert

I hate the Terminator movies and most action movies in general
:duck:

But the Terminator show at Universal is my favorite attraction in the entire park!

If your kids are sensitive to darkness and noise (like gunfire), you might think twice. But my boys were in there at 5 and 8 years old and were in paradise!!
