Terminal 1 food

I've not flown from terminal 1 for 2 years. Previously we used to eat at Garfunkels, but looking on the Manchester airport website it's no longer there, and it appears the layout of the terminal has changed.

Can anyone suggest a good place to eat?

Can't recommend any. We flew out on the 19th from terminal two and the food in the restaurant was awful. We to always went to Garfunkels but now you have a very limited choice. Personally i would eat before i got to the airport.

I'd definitely recommend Giraffe...lots of healthy options too.

Manchester airport is a bit barren landside in terms of restaurants IMO, didn't see much in T1 aside from the (apparently now non-existent!) Garfunkels and a coffee/snack type place. I think we'll be eating dinner at the hotel this year as all the 'proper' airport restaurants seem to be after security. I think there are only these 3..
