I'm proud to say I did NOT get on the scale for the first time in weeks!!! I'm slowly trying to get over my scale obsession that I have. Let's see if I can make it two days in a row :teeth:

Still happy about my 50 pound loss yesterday. :cool1: I picked up two 25 pound weights at the gym today and couldn't believe how much more I had weighed. :earseek:

I hurt my leg yesterday during bowling (pulled something) It was still bugging me, so I only did upper body weights, 20 minutes on the stairmaster and 60 minutes on the treadmill.

Nick and I took Katie to lunch this afternoon and I had a turkey burger and some fries. Figure a turkey burger was so much better than having a regular one, but I didn't feel deprieved.

The weather is gloomy and my TOM is a few days away, so of course my mood is starting to suck. Can't wait to get it over with :crazy:
 
I just spent the past two days re-reading my journal from the beginning. It's amazing how far I've come and how much guilt I felt when I cheated or didn't lose. I think I'm better with both of those things now and know the next 20 pounds will be a little slower coming off. My boys (saddlebags) Fabio & Hudson are still hanging around and my goal is to tone those boys down :earboy2:

We leave for our cruise in 14 days and I had to try on some clothes that I bought weeks ago and find them getting big on me. I guess I should have waited longer before buying summer clothes, but I just didn't think the sizes would drop as quickly as they have. :goodvibes

Today: Did 45 minutes on the glider, 15 minutes on the bike and walked 60 minutes on the treadmill.

Spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning up our storage room, getting stuff together for our garage sale the end of May and going through our suitcases (again) I still think I'm overpacked :rolleyes:

Today food has been fine. Slimfast for breakfast, Lean Cusinie meal for lunch, ff pudding for dessert, tootie pop for snack and 0 point soup & salad for dinner.

Tomorrow I plan to do some weights & cardio at the gym, go tan and then get my hair cut and then hit the grocery store for a few things. I'm thinking there might be a nap in store for me later :cloud9: Happy Hour is at the neighbors and I'm going to bring a Weight Watcher item for an appetizer.

TGIF!!! This has been a long week, but it's finally over. Only 13 more days till we leave :cool1:

Went to the gym this morning and did 40 minutes on the ellptical and 60 minutes on the treadmill. Got a new haircut (shorter than it's been in awhile, but I swear I'm 2 pounds lighter :earboy2: ) hit the tanning booth and then the store. Got a little nap in and then hung out the rest of the afternoon with DH before heading to the neighbors for Happy Hour. I brought a veggie tray and a bean salsa dip that I got out of a WW book. I had two beers, lots of veggies, lots of bean salsa dip and 3 chicken wings. I am now drinking as much water as I can before heading to bed and will follow up with water again tomorrow.
 

It's Saturday and we only have 12 more days till we leave :cool1:

I spent most of today cleaning my bathroom and dusting the bedroom. GAWD our bathroom was gross :earseek: Probably took me an hour just to clean the shower out :crazy: Also got a few loads of laundry done and will finish up tomorrow.

Food today was good... cereal for breakfast, Lean Cuisine for lunch, 100 calorie snack and soup & bean salsa on tortilla for dinner. We went bowling tonight and I had one beer, but had a hard time finishing that. DH got me a rum & diet coke, but maybe drank half of that. I brought my own water, so I drank about 20 ounces of that while bowling. Had another 32 ounces on our way home. We did stop at Diary Queen for the first time in about 7 months and I had a small strawberry/banana blizzard. I know I probably used some of my flex points for that, but I'm not going to worry since that this was the first time we've had it in a long LONG time (we use to be frequent visitors to DQ).

I know my weight will be up tomorrow, so I won't even bother with the scale. I'll have to be really good and get more than usual water in and stay below my points. All I want for Tuesdays WI is just to be down 1 pound. Nothing more... nothing less. I know I'm getting so close to the end of this road (atleast the first trip) so I need to stay patient and vigilant.

Oh... I had SO many compliments tonight about my weight loss (and new hair do) It really made me feel good about myself. I won't see these people again till August, so hopefully by then I'll be at goal and one HOT mama :earboy2:
 
I didn't get a chance to write in my journal yesterday because I was too busy sitting on my butt, watching tv :rolleyes:

I was fine with food and had plenty of water, but wished I would have gotten some activity in, besides doing laundry.

Today my TOM came early.... SURPRISE! :earseek: I'm glad it's here early so I'll have it over and done with before we leave, but geez, the timing really stunk :guilty: I was surprised to see the scale show 157, even with TOM, so I should be okay for tomorrow. Probably no big loss, but definitely no gain.

Today I have a good workout... 20 minutes weights, 20 minutes stairmaster, 40 minutes ellptical, 40 minutes treadmill. I had a lady that has been working out the same time as me for awhile comment about my weight loss. We chatted for awhile and it really made me feel good when complete strangers notice :teeth:

Food so far hasn't been much, but I'm going to get ready to have something for lunch. Slimfast for breakfast and string cheese for snack when I got home from the gym. Don't want to eat anything that's loaded with too much sodium, so I might have some oatmeal for lunch.

Today I'm going to run the vaccum around the house (darn dog & cat hair) and then sit down to watch a movie (Sideways) that I've had for over a week. The weather is gloomy and rainy, so I'll light some candles, put some sweats on and just hang out. The rest of the week gets busy, so I'm going to enjoy some down time while I can.

Congratulations Tera.

You have worked so hard and you have come so far. 50 pounds is a huge accomplishment. You are going to looks so great on your cruise. I can't beliee that you are leaving so soon.

My son weighs about 56 pounds. I give him piggy backs sometimes to remind myself of what I used to carry all the time. He's HEAVY!!!!! Isn't it amazing?

Keep picking up those dumb bells and reminding yourself, "this is gone for good"!

Thanks Beth and Sunny!!! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by for this trip. I'm not at my original goal for the trip, but pretty darn close so I'm not going to fret over it :goodvibes


My WI today went WAY better than I expected since TOM arrived yesterday. I lost 2.2 pounds for a total of 53 pounds :cool1: Only 2 more to go and I'll be claiming a new 55 pound clippie.

I have decided to put 145 as my WW goal. This is the highest range for my height and I do plan to lose another 10 pounds after that, but this way I won't have to pay anymore. Only 10 pounds to go and I'll be there.

I did 70 minutes on the treadmill before WI and I'm heading off to bowling in a few minutes. Food today was slimfast & string cheese for breakfast. I'll probably have tuna on a wheat tortilla for lunch and I think I'll take the girls out for dinner tonight since DH is bowling and I want to treat myself alittle :teeth:

9 more days till we leave, so I have one more WI and then it's just a matter of holding on and not gaining "too" much on vacation. I do plan to enjoy my vacation, but I won't go totally crazy. If I gain one or two pounds, I'm okay with that because I know I can take it off pretty quickly.

Well I've been bad and haven't written in my journal for the past couple of days :guilty: The past couple of days have been busy and won't be slowing down until we leave on vacation (7 more days!!!)

Tuesday night the girls and I did some last minutes shopping at Walmart for those odds and ends for the trip. After I took them to Cheesy Janes (hamburger type joint near our house). I had a turkey burger, but did eat some fries and tater tots. Figure with the big loss, I could treat myself. I did hate eating so late, about 7:30 :sad2:

Yesterday I had a good workout in the morning. I did 15 minutes with the weights, working out my upper body mostly, 20 minutes on the stairmaster and 30 minutes on the ellptical. After my shower, I went up to Katie's school to help out in her classroom and then the library. Last night was our monthly Del Taco night, which I had to stay at the whole time (5:00-8:00) We had a good turn out and I was lucky to have got to meet some local DISers :earsgirl: :earsboy: I did make sure to save enough points for 2 chicken soft tacos and small fries. I know today I will need to stay away from sodium and drink lots of water.

Today I did 15 minutes on weights, working out my legs only. 30 minutes on the stairmaster and 60 minutes on the treadmill. It is a cold and gloomy day and I'm happy to say I don't need to do any running around today :goodvibes I'm going to work on suitcases and try to get the big one done. I've got all my tolietries out on the counter, ready to go :cool1:

Can you believe they are forcasting SNOW tomorrow? :umbrella: :earseek: :earseek:

I can not WAIT to hit some warm weather :sunny:

My goal today is to get to some journals and catch up on some emails. I have a bunch of things I need to do for our trip, so I'll be working on that also.

I hope that snow passes you by. If you do get it, i will give you all the more reason to dream about your trip. I can't believe how soon it is! The kids must be going nuts in anticipation. Drink some extra water to get rid of the sodium from the fries. Keep up the good work.

I haven't posted in my journal in the past few days, so I'm going to try and catch up. Friday was a good day... gym I did 20 minutes stairmaster, 40 minutes ellptical and 25 minutes treadmill. I should have done weights again, but needed the extra exercise points for the evening. Friday night was our Spring Carnival. I was up there early to help set-up and helped serve pizza, which I had 2 slices of. I think that is the first pizza I have eaten in MONTHS and it was soooo good. I got to see a lot of people I hadn't seen in awhile and it was nice to hear all the compliments from them. I'm not exactly where I want to be yet, but it still made me feel good about myself. Jessica was in her first musical (Aladdin Jr) and did a great job. Saturday was snowing :cold: so not much happened. Nick took the girls to the rec center, so I was able to get laundry done and get most of the house straightened up. I like to go on vacation knowing I don't have to clean the house when I get home.

Today was another crappy day, so I have been just kicking back. I did get some more packing down and will finish up on Wednesday when I throw the last minute stuff in the suitcases. We have a neighbor taking us to the airport, so now we don't have to leave earlier in order to park, which will be nice since we still have to leave at 5:45am. I also have been reading my book, #11 in the Left Behind series. Yes... I said a BOOK :earboy2: I'm surprised I can still actually READ after so long :rotfl:

I can't believe we leave in only 4 more days. :cool1: I still want to try and lose 2 pounds to get me to an even 55 pounds when we go. I was watching Buff Brides today and I know that I really need to workout with weights harder and longer than I do with cardio. My weight is steadly coming off, but I need to tone my body more. I will pick up on that more when we get home. I'm very excited about our trip and can't wait to finally be in some warmer temps. :sunny:

Gail - Yes, a book. It's that thing that our kids leave laying around and expect US to pick up. I think it has paper in it too :earboy2: I actually finished the book #11 and will start the last one when we go on our trip.


Okay, today's weight in went well, losing 1.8 pounds. Was REALLY hoping for an even 2 pounds to put me at 55 and a new clippie, but I was .2 short. Oh well... I'll lose that by tomorrow ;) My weight is currently 153.2 pounds and the 140's are so close. Only 8 pounds till I get to my WW goal!! We leave in 2 days and I'm very excited. I can't wait to wear all those new clothes that I've bought in the past couple of months.

I had my slimfast this morning after WI and I'll have something light for lunch before bowling. Taking the kids to the mall tonight to pick up last minute stuff and I'll probably get a sandwich at the deli. Not going to worry too much since I won't be weighing in again for 2 weeks.

I probably will get on my journal atleast one more time before leave.... :sunny:
 
You were robbed!!!! I can't believe you have to wait until after vaca to get your 55 lb clippie, just for .2 measily lbs!!!! But I can tell you are too excited about your cruise to let it get to you :flower:
