It's been a crazy day and I won't be able to post long. My last day of tracking till after we get home. I am going to try and be good, but will enjoy myself and not miss out on trying something that is "bad" :goodvibes

If I do gain, I plan to get right back on track and lose that right away. I want to see 149 by the end of June at the LATEST!

I'll try and check online while onboard, but no promises ;)

Well we're off the ship, but not home yet. We're staying at the Courtyard Marriot tonight and leave tomorrow for a 6:00am flight.

I haven't weighte myself yet, but I think I did pretty darn good. I made very good choices for my meals, but did sample plenty of desserts. We were on deck 2 and I walked the stairs quite often. I will weigh myself when I get home, but I know I will be retaining plenty of water. It's amazing how swollen I got with the humidity :earseek: I did drink plenty of water and didn't drink as much alcohol and I thought I would. We hardly even touched the stuff we brought and won't make that mistake again.

Anyways, back on the program tomorrow and back at the gym Monday morning. Thank GOD the kids are in school Monday :cool1:
 
Well we're home :guilty: We had to get up at 3:45am (1:45am Denver time) for a 6:00am flight. There is going to be some cranky kids later tonight :crazy:

Well today I got on program, but not sure how much it'll help me for my Tuesday WI. I got on the scale this morning when we got home and saw 160.5 :earseek: :earseek: :earseek: Now I know it wasn't the same time and the same clothes I usually WI with and I'm sure I'm retaining water from the flying, but I was alittle disappointed. I thought for sure I would have gained very little, if anything at all. Oh well... more incentive for me to have a good week and get back to that 153 ASAP.

I had 2 Koshi bars on the plane, a WW meal when we got home and snack size 94% FF popcorn after. I'll do another dinner tonight and maybe a WW ice cream for dessert (that's going to be tough to give up again :guilty: ) I've had about 80 ounces of water so far and will try and get in another 32 ounces by tonight.

I've been busy unpacking today and doing laundry. I would love to have laided down this afternoon for a nap, but too much laundry to do still. I'm sure I'll just be in bed early tonight.

Kids are back to school tomorrow :cool1: :cool1: so I'll be able to finish up on laundry, pay some bills and do some cleaning around the house. It's amazing how much dust you can have after 10 days :sad2:

I'll start working on my trip report this week and hopefully get caught up on some journals. I can't wait to see our pictures :teeth:
 
Happy Monday!!! NOT!! :earseek: Actually, it hasn't been too bad besides getting on the scale. Saw 159.5, so I AM dropping the water, but not quick enough. I think I might push my weigh in from Tuesday to Wednesday this week to help get rid of some of this water. I feel swollen today and hope this will be gone in the next few days. The kids went back to school, thank God. I dropped Jessica off early so she could get caught up on some stuff and headed right to the gym. I did 40 minutes on the ellptical and 60 minutes on the treadmill. It was weird walking on the treadmill and found myself losing my balance. You'd think I was drinking ;) I headed to the grocery store after to stock up on some good snacks to help me along.

For food today, I had a slimfast for breakfast, WW meal for lunch, yogart for snack and egg white omelete & toast for dinner. I have found it hard from staying away from snacking today, but I did for the most part (grapes & pretzels).

If I don't go to WW tomorrow, I'll do some more cardio and drink lots of water. I still think I will see some kind of gain this week, but hopefully not as bad as 6 pounds :earseek: I know I can get rid of most of that by next week and then I'll be shooting for that 55 pound clippie.

I am so glad you had a god time. I am so proud of you for getting right back to exercise and OP. You are an inspiration. Keep up the great work and :wizard: for weigh in.

Well the scale this morning said 157.5, but when I got to my WI, I was at 157, so a 3.8 gain for me :guilty: I was going to wait until tomorrow to see if I drop another pound, but I figure a gain is a gain. I still think I'm retaining some water, so I'm hoping to be down another pound in the next day or so. I'm so behind on my summer goal, but I need to just focus on the small goals, like getting to my 55 pounds and then my 3rd 10% goal. I have 12 pounds to go to my WW goal, and still don't know what MY final goal will be. I saw pictures of my from vacation and I'm finally starting to like what I see. My legs still need a lot of work, but I know what I need to do and I just need to stick with it... and hard.

I went to the gym after WI and did 20 minutes on the weights, working mostly my legs and 30 minutes on the ellptical. I had lunch at Applebee's with a friend, having one of those WW meals. Dinner tonight was my shredded chicken that my DH so loves :love:

I'm still giving myself to our annual trip to San Francisco to visit family to get to my goal. I can't wait to see the faces on my relatives when we see them.

I think I might need to reread my journal to help refocus on my goals.

You were wise to go and do WI on your regular day. Its good to get right back in the routine. So what if its a gain, it will mark your vacation in your record book! You'll be back where you were and heading for goal in no time.

I look forward to hearing all about the cruise. Maybe you'll entice me to try one :goodvibes

Before I forget let me just say that Theresa looked AWESOME on the cruise! I wish I was able to wear the bikini that she had on!

You are doing so good getting back on pace. Are you still swaying like you are on the boat? I'm okay most of the time except when I sit in my cubicle. For some reason then I start to feel the earth move :rotfl:

Thanks Sunny!! I was glad I did go, just to get it over with. I knew I would have a gain, but I wasn't about to let it get to me. The Disney cruise was the best! If you get a chance, do it.

Thank you Amanda, you are so sweet. I was hanging alittle here and there in that bathing suit, but I figure I would never see those people again ;) Today was the first day that I haven't felt that sway. Now I kind of miss it :guilty:


Well today I didn't get on the scale (yeah me!) I've become so obsessed with it. My legs hurt from doing weights yesterday, but I got off my butt and exercised. I walked Katie to school and then met a friend and we went for a "run". It was more like a job/walk for me, but I did pretty well. I think I'm starting to get bored doing the ellptical, so this might be a good change for me. I'm guessing we did about 3 miles and then headed to the gym. I worked out only my arms and I think I'm going to be sore tomorrow. We worked out about 40 minutes and then I walked home (about another mile). I felt great, but my legs are so tired.

Cleaned myself up, had some lunch and then walked up to Katie's school to help out in the classroom and library. AFter she got out, we walked home.

I did some yard work and then spent the evening working on my trip report and going through my pictures.

Food today: slimfast for breakfast, egg white omelete & toast for lunch and a WW meal for dinner. I've had TONS of water today, over 120 ounces easily. It's amazing how much water you drink when you workout. I had a WW ice cream for dessert and munch on some pretzels and that was about it.

Not sure I'm going to get to the gym tomorrow since Nick and I are planning on playing golf. We usually get a cart, but I told him I want to walk. The weather is suppose to be gorgeous, so it'll be nice getting outside :sunny:

Thanks Beth - It'll be nice to get back down to that pre-cruise weight again.


Been really busy the past couple of days, so it's been hard to get online. Golf on Thursday was a lot of fun, even though I played like crap :confused3 We brought sandwiches and snacks, so I was good all day. We didn't end up walking since it got REALLY hot, but with as bad as I played, I was doing PLENTY of walking :rolleyes: Yesterday I was down at the neighbors doing our annual garage sale. Food was good, half bagel for breakfast and a salad for lunch. I drank about 160 ounces of water during the day because it was very hot and wanted to stay hydrated. Last night we went to the neighbors for Happy Hour and I had made my shredded chicken. Dinner was fine, and not too bad onthe appetizers. I only had a few drinks and hit the water as soon as I got home. Weight this morning was 158.5, so I know I'm retaining some of that water and sodium.

Today I went around to some of the other garage sales and it was another HOT day. You'd think it was July and not May. I bought a size 10 petite skirt for a $1 that was really cute, but still too small. Figure that would be an incentive :teeth: Food today has been 2 slices of toast for breakfast, WW meal for lunch and a chicken taco for dinner. I had 2 WW ice creams for dessert and I'm working on a tootie pop now. Tomorrow I have so much yard work to do, I should burn plenty of calories. It won't be as hot, so it should make things easier.

I stopped and talked to a friend who said I looked great. She was thinking about joining weight watchers and I was giving her all the details. I think she would do well with the program, especially since she's already working out. She just needs that extra help like I did. I got so many compliments last night, it has really boosted my ego :goodvibes

Still need to work on my trip report, download pictures and get to journals.... hopefully tomorrow :rolleyes:
 
Well I don't think the scale will be good to me this coming weight in. Yesterday I was good all day and it showed on the scale this morning with a 156. I thought if I was just good today and tomorrow, I could get to 155 this week and tackle the last 2 pounds I gained on vacation next. Nick and I were outside most of today working in the yard. I'm very happy with what we got done, sweating like crazy. We're having the neighbors and some family over on Memorial Day, so I wanted the yard to look nice. Later tonight we went to the neighbors since their family is still in town. I drank my beer coolers (beer & diet sprite) and had maybe 2 of those. I had some shrimp and then I ate some grilled chicken, very little steak and salad for dinner. I guess I feel like I've blown it because I'm so stuffed, but I guess besides the steak, not over my points by much. Tomorrow I will do my 0 point soup I made today for lunch and dinner and drink my water and hope for the best on Tuesday.

Hey Tera! Welcome back!! I was thinking yesterday..."Hey, Tera must be back from her cruise"...Time just flies by so fast...and you've been back for over a week. As you can see, I've been slacking!

I'm glad you had a good time on your cruise and that you were able to get back into the swing of things when you came home. You're doing awesome!

Well I lose 1 pound today, so only 2.8 pounds to go for my pre-cruise weight. TOM also arrived this morning, so I was happy with the pound. Definitely feeling fatigued today and I'm sure it had NOTHING to do with the call I just got from Jessica's health teacher :rolleyes: That girl is in SO much trouble when she gets home :mad:

I did some sit-ups at the gym and 30 minutes on the ellptical after weight in. I have to be up at the school to help out with some parties and then we have a meeting with the school nurse for the 4th grade girls "period" talk :rolleyes: Jessica is suppose to have her choir concert, but now Nick is thinking twice about it. She only has 2 more days of school, so I'm not sure how much "grounding" her now will help. Next year, things WILL be different.

I had a yogart & vitamuffin for breakfast after WI and a WW meal for lunch. I've had about 64 ounces of water so far and think I need to slow down on my water intake.

How MUCH water is too much?? I'd be curious to know :confused3 I think yesterday I had about 160 ounces. Might be why I didn't lose as much (plus TOM :rolleyes: )

You aredoing great. TOM is why you haven't lost more. As for the water, there is aa condition called water intoxication. Your water intake has to be high and generally have a low sodium intake. Symptoms include fatigue, dizziness, and confusion. 160 oz daily might be too much, but once in a while shouldn't be a problem. The fatigue you are having right now is probably related to TOM.
