Thanks Gail and Jen!!!!!
I saw this posted on the cruising thread and thought is was so true for those of us who are watching our food intake to lose weight:
"Nothing tastes as good as thin feels"
Well today has been a good day so far. After kids left for school, I went to the gym and did 40 minutes on the glider and 60 minutes on the treadmill. I did run, but had a good pace going. Burned just over 800 between the both of them!!!
After, I went up to Old Navy to get some St Patrick's Day shirts for next week. Before, I would never shop at Old Navy because I thought I was too fat to fit into those cute little clothes. I did find a strapless sundress on sale and first I went into the changing room with a size 16 and size 14, not knowing if either would fit. Turns out the 14 was too big and so was the 12. I ended up buying a size 10 and might go exchange it for a size 8 since I will still be losing before our cruise!!! I think I can say now officially good-bye to size 16's and 14's!!!
Came home and cleaned up myself. I am now wearing my size 12 pants that I bought the other day and I feel so good in them. They are a little tighter than I would like in the butt, but I figure by the time I leave for bowling tonight, they will probably stretch out abit.
Eating has been good so far... slimfast this morning, string cheese when I got home and a lean cuisine meal for lunch. Probably will make a snack size bag of 94% FF popcorn for a snack and have had about 40 ounces of water so far. Plan to get atleast another 60 ounces in and more tomorrow since I will have a few cocktails tonight
I think after losing almost 43 pounds, I'm starting to feel better about myself and my body. My butt is still bigger than I would like, but still have 30 more pounds to go and a lot more working out to do. I was thinking today while on the treadmill that I don't think I've ever worn a size 12 as an adult. I think I wore a junior size in high school and then went right to a 14 (it's hard to remember that far back

) I think once I lose the 30 pounds and tone this butt up, I should be fitting into a size 8 or even a 6, which just blows me away. I'm just going to keep focusing on a pound at a time and celebrate every accomplishment that I have.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day as I will be enjoying the 60's today and tomorrow

before a cold front makes a visit
