Teresa's WISH Jouranl (Comments Welcomed)

Thanks Jen - You are always such a great :cheer2: :cheer2: for me. :flower:

Thank you Wilderness!!!!

Today Katie has a field trip and I'm one of the lucky chaperone's  , so no gym for me today. First time in awhile, so it's going to be weird. I will be doing lots of walking, so it won't be too bad. Tomorrow I need to hit the weights hard and a good cardio workout.

Eating has been been good and I still couldn't seem to use all my points yesterday, including AP. Someone suggested I use all of them for a day or two and then reduce my points to help with my metabolism. Still shooting for 159 by April 1st, so I have 6 pounds to go.

So far today I had my FF waffles with the sugar free jelly and a glass of skim milk. I made tuna with a wheat pita for lunch and who knows about dinner. My poor family.... I hardly cook because I'm trying to stay below my points :earseek:

Oh... just want to mention how freaky our weather is here. Yesterday morning, it was partly cloudy, but you could see blue skies to the west. Kids went to school and it was already 50 degrees out. I left for the gym and then went to WW for my meeting (9:00am). Came out an hour later and it was snowing. By the time I got home (about 10 minutes on the highway), it was like a blizzard and was about 2 inches on the ground already (no collection on the streets, just grassy areas). Left for bowling around 11:45 and it was still snowing. By the time I got done with bowling, around 2:30, the sun was out and all the snow was gone. You would have never known it snowed if you didn't see it. It was really weird.... :earseek:

Have a great day!! :sunny: :sunny:

Well last night we ended up having burgers for dinner, mine being a Boco burger. I had a few fries with that and it was YUMMY :earboy2:

Well today hasn't been too bad of a day. After kids left for school, I headed to the gym. I only did about 15 minutes on weights, working on just arms & some leg exercises. I did 90 minutes on the treadmill, doing 4.60 miles the first hour. Still trying to work on my running, but it's getting there. I walked another 30 minutes to help cool down.

Eating has been fine today, slimfast this morning, string cheese when I got home and just finished a Healthy Choice meal. The scale doesn't seem to want to budge now and I need to just stop getting on the darn thing. :earseek:

Yesterday I was able to buy a pair of size 12 jeans. They are alittle tight in the butt, but I figure in a week or so, they should be a little more comfortable. Just the fact that I could fit into them and even button them is a great thrill!!! :cool1:

My goal is to be at 163 for my weigh in Tuesday. Need to increase my water the next few days.

Thanks Gail and Jen!!!!!

I saw this posted on the cruising thread and thought is was so true for those of us who are watching our food intake to lose weight:

"Nothing tastes as good as thin feels"

Well today has been a good day so far. After kids left for school, I went to the gym and did 40 minutes on the glider and 60 minutes on the treadmill. I did run, but had a good pace going. Burned just over 800 between the both of them!!!

After, I went up to Old Navy to get some St Patrick's Day shirts for next week. Before, I would never shop at Old Navy because I thought I was too fat to fit into those cute little clothes. I did find a strapless sundress on sale and first I went into the changing room with a size 16 and size 14, not knowing if either would fit. Turns out the 14 was too big and so was the 12. I ended up buying a size 10 and might go exchange it for a size 8 since I will still be losing before our cruise!!! I think I can say now officially good-bye to size 16's and 14's!!!

Came home and cleaned up myself. I am now wearing my size 12 pants that I bought the other day and I feel so good in them. They are a little tighter than I would like in the butt, but I figure by the time I leave for bowling tonight, they will probably stretch out abit.

Eating has been good so far... slimfast this morning, string cheese when I got home and a lean cuisine meal for lunch. Probably will make a snack size bag of 94% FF popcorn for a snack and have had about 40 ounces of water so far. Plan to get atleast another 60 ounces in and more tomorrow since I will have a few cocktails tonight :-)

I think after losing almost 43 pounds, I'm starting to feel better about myself and my body. My butt is still bigger than I would like, but still have 30 more pounds to go and a lot more working out to do. I was thinking today while on the treadmill that I don't think I've ever worn a size 12 as an adult. I think I wore a junior size in high school and then went right to a 14 (it's hard to remember that far back :earseek: ) I think once I lose the 30 pounds and tone this butt up, I should be fitting into a size 8 or even a 6, which just blows me away. I'm just going to keep focusing on a pound at a time and celebrate every accomplishment that I have.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day as I will be enjoying the 60's today and tomorrow :sunny: before a cold front makes a visit :cold:

Okay... I am going to make my first attept at posting pictures of my progress:

The first should be when I first started WW in August, the second is around December and the third is today.

I hope this works

Okay... obviously didn't work. Need to figure this out.

Tera...for some reason...I don't see any pics!! I see red boxes with an X...is it only me??

Anyway...you are still my hero!! Way to go getting those size 10's and probably needing an 8!!! You are so awesome!!!!

Have a great weekend!

Hi Teresa,

Your progress is so inspiring. I can't get over how you just keep losing-- steady steady steady!!!! Isn't is wonderful to say good bye to the 16s and 14s! Congrats on the TINY sundress :cheer2:

I really enjoyed your progress assessment. I think it is really important to do that along the way. Sometimes we get so caught up on looking for the next loss that we don't realize how far we've come. You've come a long way, baby :cool1:

I hope the pics show up soon ::yes::

Sunny

I just wanted to wish you a Happy Sunday! I hope you have a wonderful day! :flower:

Thanks Gail - I'm having trouble getting those posted. Hopefully I'll have those up soon.

Thanks Sunny - It's nice to be able to go back and re-read my progress.

Thanks Jen

Well, the last two days have been okay. Friday night we went bowling and I had a few too many drinks and paid for it later in the evening. :earseek: Saturday was tough since I was still paying for it till after lunch. It was slow, but I finally got it together, drinking lots of water and staying OP with food. We bowled again and I had PLENTY of water to get me through the evening. I did slurge alittle with a small hamburger and fries. I had 9 points left over, so I'm sure I didn't have to use too many flex points. The hamburger was good, but could have done without the fries.

Today is much better, besides the 4 inches of snow outside and the scale doesn't seem to have been effected by the too many drinks Friday and hamburger last night. Had a small bowl of cereal this morning and am still drinking lots of water. The scale has been weird this past week, not moving much. I am hoping for another 1.5 pound loss. It's not a lot, but like Sunny says, it's steady. :teeth:

Tomorrow I plan to do some weights, especially for my legs & butt and some hard cardio.

Hey there!! I had to just pop in and say LOOK AT YOU KID!!! :teeth: You are doing GREAT!!!! And you got into size 12's and even bought a 10 that fit!! That is amazing!!! Please quick run and go donate any article of clothing over a 12! :) You'll NEVER need them again!!!

Your workouts are going GREAT, they'll easily see you down to your goal range. You're being very reasonable with your eating...we all have little slip-ups it's just making sure they don't become the rule rather the exception. You are such an inspiration because you have really stuck to it and whenever I feel challenged I can always come to your journal and pick me up! I'd LOVE to see some pictures!! I bet you look FAB!!!

Keep up the great work!!! Can't wait to see you blow right through the 150's! :)

Tara

Yes! Put those above size 10 clothes FAR FAR AWAY! Run! :cool1:

Hi Teresa,

I think you are still having picture problems! If you'd like, you can email me your picts and I'll put them on my website and give you the link to get them to show in your journal.

I'll send you a PM with my email :)

Sunny

Sunny - Are the links not working? :confused3 I clicked on them and they brought me to the site where I posted the pictures :guilty:

It brings me to the site and shows the front of your picture album. But it tells me I need to be a member to view the album :confused3

Crap! I didn't even think about that :guilty:

I emailed you those pictures. Let me know if you didn't get them. Hopefully you'll be able to help me out

This should do it :)

I've put the code you need to copy and paste under each picture. Just change the { and } to [ and ] just like with clippies.

I'll edit my post and remove this stuff once you have your picts in your journal.

You have made sooooo much progress! You look GREAT!!! :cheer2: Your proportions are FANTASTIC-- gotta be all that exercise and those *&$^%@ Stairs-from-H*LL!!!!!!!

Great job!

Sunny
