Well today is the day after our Halloween party and I feel like I've gained 10 pounds. Didn't get to the gym yesterday, but was good all day up till the party. I drank WAY too much (too many jello shots) and ate pretty badly, but not as bad as I thought I would. This morning I have a headache and my legs hurt from standing in those damn boots all night long :crazy: Didn't get to bed till after 2:30am, so I'm REALLY tired today. I'm sure I'll be in bed early.... Tomorrow I've got to have a good work out and make sure I eat really well so I don't show a gain at my weight in on Tuesday. I still would really like to have a one pound loss, but I'm not going to hold my breath... Need to drink LOTS of water and try and flush out some of this alcohol :earseek:

Well today was MUCH better than what I expected. Lost another 1.4 pounds for a total of 18 pounds!!! That 20 pound clippie is soooooo close.:D Anyways, here our my measurements for this week:


Waist 34 1/2 (down 3 1/2 inch total)
Hips 44 (down 3 1/2 inch total)
Upper Arm 13 1/2 (down 1/2 total)
Thighs 28.5 (same)
Outer Thighs 49 1/2 (down 1/2 inch total)
Calves 16 (down 1/2 inch)
Chest 37.5 (down 1/2 total)


So I'm down 18 pounds and 9 inches total so far in 10 weeks!!!!!

Thanks Beth! People I haven't seen in awhile have commented, but besides the looser pants, I don't see the difference yet. I guess because I still have to lose so much :rolleyes:

I am thrilled with my progress so far and just hope I can keep it up :D

WOWsers, Tera!! I couldn't help but stop and post my congrats on your fantastic numbers! You are doing GREAT!!! You should be so proud of yourself. I bet that 20 pound clippie is just around the corner for you! ::yes::

Yesterday I totally blew my points. I worked out and did well all day, but DH and I went out for a bite to eat before we went bowling (he bowls in a men's league). I had a side salad, a turkey sandwich and a beer, not too bad, since I went to the gym and had extra points. But then we headed to the bowling alley and I must have drank 8 beers, plus I ordered a side of french fries. Kind of weird since I never really eat them. Went to the gym this morning and walked 80 minutes on the treadmill and some weights. My tummy couldn't handle any cardio today :crazy: I'm over yesterday and back into being OP.
 
Well yesterday felt like another crappy day of eating. Went to the gym in the morning and had a good workout and did pretty well all day with my eating. Last night we went to Maggiano's for dinner with my family (plus brothers & father). We had some appetizers (I ate two bruschetta) I got the half order of the roasted chicken because I felt that was the safest thing to get and ate a small piece, and then we got the chocolate cake, but it was split between 7 of us, so not TOO bad. I also had two beers :rolleyes: I felt SO sick when we left, I thought I was going to barf :crazy2: I was so full, I ended up going to bed early (felt like Thanksgiving already :p )

Today I worked out HARD trying to burn those extra calories from last night and I feel better. I'm sucking down water like there is no tomorrow :crazy: I've been doing really well with staying OP today and plan to have another good day at the gym tomorrow. Kids have a half day, so we'll hit the pool in the afternoon and plan to get some laps in. I want to feel those pounds dripping off me :teeth:

So how is Maggiano's? One just opend by us, and I was thinking of taking my parents there.

Great job working out to counteract the food. Just remember to push the water today.

Beth - I'm pushing so much water, I might just float to Florida for our May trip :hyper:

I like Maggiano's, but italian isn't my favorite food. You can eat family style or your own dish. You can dress up or go casual (I wore jeans). You can check out their menu online... just go to maggianos.com

Today I haven't eaten all that great. Jessica had her feis (Irish dancing competition) this morning, so I had a slimfast as we headed out the door. For lunch we had subway sandwiches (I did not eat the entire sandwich), ate a bag of 100 calorie wheat thins, a piece or two of pretzel and an oatmeal raisin cookie. I guess not TOO bad, but bad enough. Drank TONS of water when I could. Sitting there all afternoon just made me feel fat, plus I was wearing my khaki pants that are too big and it made me look fatter in the mirror. (Note: Jessica placed 1st and 6th in two of her dances and didn't place in the other 4 :( ) Tonight for dinner I had a weight watcher meal and then I'm treating myself to a ff pudding w/ ff cool whip (3 points) and sucking down MORE water. I totally stunk in my fantasy football this week, so I'm bumming in the worse way :(

I really really want to be down 2.8 pounds so I can celebrate my first 10%, but I have a feeling I'll have to wait two weeks for that. Geez... I sound like a broken record. It's getting tight with my goal if I don't lose atleast 2 pounds. The last two weeks seem to have been going by slow and maybe it's because of the cooler weather. I've lost 3.2 pounds in two weeks, so it's not like I shouldn't be thrilled. :( Did I mention I feel fat today :crazy: Ahhhh you would think it was that TOM, but I still have a couple of weeks for that.

Tomorrow I plan for a really good workout, so we'll see how it goes:D
 
Today is Monday and I'm back at the gym. Did about 20 minutes on the weights, 30 minutes on the cardio (elipical) and walked 60 minutes on the treadmill. I also sat in the sauna for 40 minutes, but of course, when I got on the scale after, I gained 1.5 pounds. I'm sure that's just from all the water I was sucking down and my muscles from that good workout. DH is out of town this week, so just me and the girls :crazy: Tomorrow is my weight in and I'm hoping for atleast one pound. I'll go to the gym and walk and then head over to WW. Wednesday is a very busy day and not sure what kind of workout I'm going to get in. Sometimes the busy days are better since I don't have time to sit around and eat. Today I've had a slimfast, a weight watchers meal for lunch, two of the WW brownies and a pear. I'm trying to leave myself some extra points since we're hitting Wendy's before taking my DB to the airport. This will be the first fast food I've had since starting WW, but I'm going to treat myself to a small hamburger and maybe a small fries ( 13 points :earseek: )

I keep meaning to tell you, I love your little scale bar! I'm tempted to take something out of my signature and put one in. I saw some really cute ones on their website!

I couldn't resist, when I saw your post on my thread this morning I was like I have to get one, they are just too darn cute! Now I have to figure out a way to get my little napper guy back in my signature somewhere. Oh well, I don't need to be napping, that ain't gonna make the scale go down any! :p LOL

My weight in didn't go as well as I would have liked. Only lose .2 pounds for a total of 18.2 pounds. I was really hoping for a pound, but guess I'll have to wait till next week. I didn't think I did too bad this week, but maybe I'm starting to build muscle. I don't know... I'm a little bummed :( Guess I'll have to wait atleast another week before I can get to my 10% and my new clippie.
