Happy Anniversay! DH and I celebrated our 15th last month!

Glad you guys had such a nice time! Don't worry about that scale...keep flushing that system w/ water...come Tuesday...things will be fine! What are we all on the same cycle w/ TOM??? They say women who hang out together become on the same cycle...but I didn't think it pertained to the internet!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Well I'm feeling a little crappy today and wonder if I've caught Katie's cold. I've been sneezing and definitely have that croupy cough going and a little sore throat, not too bad though. Today I'm taking it easy, drinking lots of water and staying OP with food. I did get on the scale this morning thinking my Friday night drinking and eating bad would be showing up, but it said 169. Now I wasn't in my "weighing in outfit", but pretty darn close. I'm thinking if I get through today and tomorrow totally OP and drinking lots of water, I might be celebrating several things at my weigh in on Tuesday: 168 would get me to my 2nd 10% goal, 40 pounds and the lowest weight I've been in 15 years!!!!!! THAT would be a great day! :sunny:

Tomorrow I plan to sleep in a little later (7:30) and go to the gym. I really need to push myself alittle harder to help tone this body of mine up. Told the kids we'd go see a movie, The Son of the Mask after I got home and would like to go to the mall and look at summer clothes for the kids for our cruise, which is in 10 weeks, 4 days!!!! :banana: :banana:



Just wanted to make another note. I thought with the way I had eaten on Friday night and Saturday morning and with all the cocktails & wine I had, I would have been up a couple of pounds or atleast retaining TONS of water. When I got on the scale today and saw 169, I was pleasantly surprised and realize that even if you have a bad meal or day in my case, that following up with lots of water really does help. I mean, I was eating those chocolate covered strawberries like there was no tomorrow and I'm sure I had atleast a dozen cheese & crackers (and this wasn't reduced fat stuff either). The next day I did have a tummy ache and told DH that this is the most junk I've put in my body in 6 months and it didn't like it :earseek: Anyways, just wanted to make a note of that. :rolleyes:
 

Oooh..that is so great! We'll be celebrating your losses on Tuesday!! Just stay focused until then!! You are doing such an awesome job.

Just got back from a belated birthday dinner for Katie (she was sick for her b/day last week) at TGI Fridays. We all split sesame chicken appetizer (I had about 3 pieces) I then had a small garden salad (alittle dressing drizzled on) and a fish and broccoli dinner. I actually passed on the rice and got a double order of broccoli :teeth: She got a large sundae for dessert which I had about 4 spoonfuls of. I think overall I did well and after drinking tons of water today, I still feel really good.

Ahhh... I can't wait till Tuesday :cool1:
 
Hey! It is TOM for me today!!! (I thought tomorrow, but no! Today!! This is scary!

Your attitude is wonderful! You had a great time, had some treats, but didn't beat yourself up! That is AWESOME!!! :cool1:

Hey Gail - I can't wait to post tomorrow... hopefully it'll be a big celebration ;)

Well today has been a good day and I'm hoping tomorrow will be even better. Kids were off, so I set the alarm for 7:30 and headed to the gym. Did about 20 minutes with weights, but didn't work too hard since I was busy chatting with a friend ;) I got on the treadmill for an hour and alternating 3 minutes walking and 5 minutes running, and ran the last 13 minutes for 4.5 miles!!!! I felt really good that I had pushed myself and will continue to improve on that. I walked another 20 minutes to cool down and burned over 500 calories. Got the car washed and then headed home to pick up the family since we were going to see The Son of The Mask. Movie was cute, but doubt I would rent/buy it when it came out. Definitely worth a rental though. After the movie, the girls and I headed up to JCPenny's to check out some summer stuff for the girls. Katie got a new swimsuit, a sundress and a formal type for the cruise and Jessica got some shorts and shirts. I did find a beautiful dress for formal night and was so excited that it fit. I originally got the 14, not realizing it was a junior size 13/14 and it fit!! I had Katie get me the 11/12 and it fit too (alittle tight around the chest, but figure I'll still lose more weight). I was so excited!!! :banana: :banana: :banana: I did get on the scale this morning and saw 168.5 I figure with a good day today, I'm definitely going to be seeing 168, if not lower tomorrow. As far as eating today, I had a slimfast for breakfast, 2 string cheese, granola bar, tootie poop and a few 100 calorie chips ahoy (the bag was crushed) at the theater with water. No popcorn!! :cool1: Just finished a Healthy Choice meal and will have something small for dessert and lots of water. Can't wait for tomorrow :sunny: .

Today was a good day at WW. I first went to the gym and walked for 40 minutes before heading over for my weigh in. I lost 2.8 pounds, which brings me to 167.4 (my lowest weight in 15 years) my new 40 pound clippie and my 2nd 10% goal. :banana: :banana: I'd still like to lose 20 before my cruise, but atleast 10 would be good. I need to shower and eat before heading off to bowling... I will update later tonight. I'm still fighting a cold, but no way it's going to bring me down today :sunny:

Tera!!! HI!!! I found your journal and I'm LOVING reading through it...made it through about 8 pages!!! Can you tell having our only television blow on me is making me a WISH junkie now? But it really is helping to inspire me...although I'm 5'7 I SWEAR your measurements are MINE!!! I thought I was the only one with arms as big as my calves! :) And they're the last thing to lose...on and don't get me started on the hips....but reading all those measurements and seeing them GO DOWN has inspired me to start charting inches lost again...the scale has been weird lately but I know my body is smaller (first week to really pump up the exercise) so thanks for journaling all those measurements! You need to go back to your first post and read how FAR YOU'VE COME!!! I would catch myself looking at the date you were where I am now and figuring okay..in 3 months I can be in the 160's too! :) I'm sooo excited for you and can't wait for you to hit that mark of your lowest in 15 years! :) I was 142 on my wedding day, 135 when I met hubby and I'm just gonna spit shine my shoes when I see 150's....you're gonna get there before I do...so keep up the great work so I can follow in your footsteps! :)

I was telling a friend today that I have said GOOD BYE to the 170's and I won't ever see you again :cool1: :cool1:

Well my cold has now hit me pretty hard today. Actually yesterday afternoon, but feel it pretty bad in my head today and the nose won't stop running :guilty: I did still go to the gym today even though I wasn't 100%, but wanted to do some sort of exercise. Didn't have the strenghth to do any weights today, but walked (tried to run) about 25 minutes on the treadmill and then 45 minutes on the ellptical (glider) with a friend. That was it for me and headed home and got back into bed. Slepted from about 10:00 to 12:00 and then got up and had some lunch before heading up to the school. I helped out in the library, so it wasn't too bad. Took kids to dentist appts after and then back home where I'm suffering in silence :earseek: Had some toast and soup for dinner. I will be heading to bed early tonight, either before or after Lost is on. Hoping with a good night sleep, I'll be better by tomorrow. Need a good workout, plus my house NEEDS to be picked up.

Feeling alittle better today, but definitely not 100%. I went to bed about 9:00am and slepted okay. Nose isn't running too bad, but definitely can feel the congestion in my head. Went to the gym and did 80 minutes on the treadmill, alternating between walking and running. I was able to get 4.25 miles in an hour, not as far as I wanted, but better than nothing. Cooled down another 20 minutes for over 5 miles.

After lunch (soup & toast), I need to run to the mall for a birthday present for a friend and then pick Jessica up early for a orthodontics appt. TOM still hasn't arrived, but should be ANY time :earseek: Just want to get it over with before my weigh in on Tuesday. Shooting for another 2 pounds, which would take me to 165 :teeth:
