We have never taken the time to do a sit down meal in Epcot before. This trip we would like to. DH and I read all the descriptions last night in one of our books and decided that Teppanyaki sounded like fun but just aren't sure if this restraunt will be child friendly ? We will have out 7yo and 8mo. Otherwise does anyone else have any suggestions for somewhere to eat before Illuminations ?

The atmosphere is certainly child friendly. If your kids are picky eaters, just remember that the chicken tempura tastes just like chicken nuggets. lol

The tempura in general is good except for the beef. The beef there was one of my worst food encounters in all of Disney. Chewy, fatty, eugh....just bad quality meat. But the vegetables, chicken and shrimp are very "tame".

And the non alcoholic drinks are also very good.

My DDs (6.5 and 3.5) love Teppanyaki and all restaurants like that! If they could choose, we would eat at our local Japanese restaurant every night! The 3.5 yo has been to Teppanyaki type restaurants since she was a baby. The show can be quite entertaining for the baby.

My kids loved this restaurant!!!! Our server was very entertaining but I have heard that you may not be so lucky. The food was very good but small portions for a big price. I still give it a thumbs up!!! :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:
