Can you get individual tables? Husband hates sitting family style with other people!

We go every year (sometimes twice a year) and have never seen individual tables.

We've never tried to ask, though, either. I doubt they'll say "yes," but it couldn't hurt to try.

No. You cannot get an individual table. The seating at the table is for 8.

No, all the tables are for 8 and they will fill the tables. If you have a party of 8 or more then he can be at a table with just his party, but for a party of 7 or less there will likely be someone outside your party at the table.

No, the seating area surrounds the Teppan Grill. They are tables for 8. If DH is uncomfortable sitting with others, you would be better off looking for a different restaurant

I'm going to suggest that the communal table isn't a big deal in this context. With the noise of the cooking and the way you are seated all in a row facing the grill, there is not a big compulsion to converse with the others if you're not inclined to do so. Also, if you're seated on an end, you could put DH in that end seat, and you would be on the corner. There wouldn't be much of a way he could chat with the other party, even if he wanted to. (Just a suggestion for if you really, really want to go to this place. If it's not high on your list, sure, go to another place and he'll be happier.)
