Teppan Edo on DDP?

Forgive me if this has recently been answered - I haven't been on this board in awhile. We're leaving for our first trip to WDW on 1/24!

When I made my ADR's back in July, Teppan Edo wasn't yet on the DDP. I heard something about contract issues and that they probably would be eventually. I went ahead and made a reservation anyway.

Now I'm wondering if they were ever added. If not, I need to make a new ADR, I guess.

Does anyone know?

Over the last day or so multiple people have called Disney Dining and DVC Customer Service trying to get an answer to this question. There is another thread on this on the DDP board.

Some people have been told it was just added, some told it is still in negotiations. Some people have spoken to supervisors, and still from posts on yesterday's thread, DISers have gotten conlicting responses. One person was told that they have 2 different screens to check, one says it is on the 2008 DDP and the other says not yet. The 2 existance of 2 different screens is probably the source of the confusion, but which is corrct

I have been told every time I called that Teppan Edo is on the 2008 dining plan- even when I made my ADRs at the 180 mark. Still, I am waiting to see it in writing before I believe it or change any ADRs, even if I have to change my ADRs at check-in .

Wonder what will happen over the next day or two when it actually is 2008. Wouldn't it be horrible if someone on the plan went there and was basically told...sorry, we're not participating in the DDP. They'd have to immediately decide whether to just get up and try somewhere else without an ADR or pay out of pocket. What a mess that would be!

Hi calypso*a*go-go, ITA! We'll probably hear feedback (good or bad) from someone in the parks.

I keep looking for a new DDP brochure on the Disney website, no luck yet, though. The date on the current posted brochure is 121207. I am not so patiently waiting for the next (final?) version.
