Question about the kids meal at Teppan Edo, if you're on the meal plan.

This is how the menu reads:

Kid's Teppan - includes vegetables, Udon noodles and steamed rice

Tori - chicken breast $12.00
Ebi - large shrimp $12.00

Okosama Set - includes vegetables, steamed rice and dessert

Tempura Combo - shrimp and chicken $9.50
Teriyaki Chicken $9.50
Vegetable Croquette $9.50

Soo, if you order the Ebi (Kid's Teppan), does that mean that she will NOT get a dessert?? I thought dessert is always included on the kids meals when you have the dining plan?

ALSO - anyone know if you can order a SIDE of the udon noodles and if so, approx what the cost would be? (For our 2 yr old...)

THANKS!

Not sure how your 2 y.o. eats but mine shared my noodles and was fine with that. I was full from the shrimp and chicken. I ordered him a cookie since his sisters got them and they didn't charge me for that. Oh, and yes they get a cookie for dessert (one dd ordered the chicken, the other the shrimp).

2 weeks ago, the only kid's dessert available was a packaged chocolate chip cookie. If the kids wanted anything else, we would have to pay for it.

Luckily, mine loved dinner and were stuffed to the gills. We took the cookies with us and they ate them for breakfast the next morning (or maybe DH ate them for breakfast the next am;) )

Gee, when I ate at Teppan Edo I'd have rather had the cookie but wasn't offered it, LOL. I loved my meal there, but the desserts were sorely lacking. I had soft serve ice cream, my friends had the fruit tart and chocolate ginger cake. None of them were very good. Luckily we were too full to really want much dessert anyway. :goodvibes

Using a snack credit outside for a Kaki Gori would be a much better dessert, IMO. Yum! :goodvibes

We just returned from last week and ate there. Kids can only get the cookie in package. I remember when we went in January, kids could choose ice cream or cookie. My kids chose cookies any way since they were so stuffed. But this time, they ordered from adults menu and got ice cream. Their little cousin who always wanted the same thing was very upset.

The green tea pudding is very good.

When we went in june the ice cream was not included, so I had to pay OOP for one and used mine for my twins to have ice cream for dessert, and now that I think about it they weren't even given the cookie that they had to order:rolleyes: .

Does anyone know what you are allowed to order at Teppan Edo when using the DP? It has single items, then combo items, can you order either?

Hmm, good question. I assumed you could order anything but...you know what happens when one assumes! :lmao: Anyone know??

Seriously, when we went in November, we were allowed to order anything on the menu.. DH and I both got the Shrimp and Steak Combos.
