Teppan Eddo party of 9

We would like reservations at Teppan Eddo but tables seat 8 will they let our party of 9 all sit together? 5 kids 8-14 years.

Probably not. The table is already pretty crowded with eight people: there's really just no room for a ninth to sit and eat. If one of your kids was still a lap child, maybe it would work, but with 8+ year olds, probably not.
