Hi guys, I know there are tent only sites at FW as we saw them out of our back window last stay. How do you book these without getting a tent/popup space? Do you have to call as I have never seen these on the website.

They are partial sites. Open to tents and popups/small campers that don't use sewer. 1500 and 2000 loop.

Yes. It must be the group camping ring. It's just outside of the 2000 loop. We stayed in the back corner of 2000. And its was right there. It seemed to have it's own comfort station. But there were no cars and no pads. And I am honestly not sure if there were even electric poles there. Is this something that just anyone can set up in? Or what's the deal?

Duh, sorry. Creekside Meadow primitive camping. The group camping area is for groups of 20 or more. Mostly I've seen boy Scouts there.

That's really neat. Must be a pretty cool boy scout group to go camping at Disney! :cool2:

And don't forget the bunch of people with the Indian teepees who camp in the Group area every Thanksgiving (I think it is).
