Hi! We are finally getting a chance to return to the Fort and to Disney! Our last trip was in 2006. We are going to be there Easter week for 7 nights. Our last trip, our 12 year old was 5 and our 9 year old was just 2. Now we will be heading back with 2 additional little ones! We will be tent camping again (we did it last time too). Anyone else going to be there that week? Any advice for us since it has been 7 years since we have been there? Thanks!

Relax and enjoy a magical time at the Fort and WDW.

Good for you. :grouphug:

Be advised that Easter week is the busiest, most crowded time in the spring at the Fort and WDW. As such don't push the kids too hard in the parks. If they act tired, maybe take them back to the Fort for a nap.

With kids you have to play it by ear. :listen:

Hopefully the weather will be great. Spring is a great time at the Fort.

I have only been at Disney on Easter week. This will be my 4th trip total (2nd time staying at the campground/onsite) and every trip has been at Easter. I don't think I would know what to do in a less crowded time.... LOL My Dh and I both work for the school system, so it really limits us to when we are able to travel. :(

We will be at the fort for Easter week too. We are not doing any parks this time.
We are taking this trip to enjoy everything else Disney has to offer. :cool1:

We will be there Easter week as well with our Dd's 10.5 & 7. We'll be in a rented pop-up until Thurs. 4/4 and have requested the 1500 loop, but if we end up neighbors feel free to say hi! We'll be in a red Dodge mini van, only doing 2 park days, and are soooo excited!:woohoo:

We are renting with Fortcamperrental.com. They only have pop-ups but they do sleep 8, and they're only $60/nt. They set up and take down for you and stock the camper with most things you'll need. Since we're leaving late in the week for the cruise it's perfect for us not to have to bring our own camper, ALL of our supplies, park our camper while cruising, and I figure what I pay in rental I'll save in gas towing from Indiana! Plus we can drive my van (more comfortable than the truck), and I only have to pack clothes, food, and the little extra things (ok, I overpack!) I like to drag along. Our camper is what we like to call "vintage" (no it really is, a 1976 Apache pop up) so the idea of the fride, stove & a/c all working appropriately is fabulous! According to their calendar they still have one available for Easter week, when I called the number they were very friendly, he emailed me the contract, I printed it out and snail mailed it back, and made my deposit through Paypal. So far I'm very pleased, I'm sure the convenience will be worth it! Take a peek at the website, they have alot of information and photos. Good luck, we don't have much longer to wait!

Thanks for the info. We rented from Florida camper rental last October. William is the owner & he has travel trailers & pop ups. He did a great job & we didn't need anything but food & clothes. Thanks for your info.:thumbsup2
