Any ideas on how we should surprise our DS8 about going to WDW in November ?

I though an envelope with Disney dollars and when he asks about them, we tell him we'll have to go to WDW to spend it. Not sure though. Trying to get a way to surprise him is almost as good as the trip itself!

I need some good ideas!!

That sounds great. Maybe you could do a scavenger hunt (all Disney stuff for him to find) and have the dollars at the end?

We surprised our kids with a week-long trip to FL by picking them up at school and heading straight to the airport. The expressions on their faces when they found out where they were going was the most awesome site. The packing was done over about two weeks so they wouldn't notice a big, sudden change in their closets and dressers.

Hmm, that's a great idea. I need to return the Incredibles costumes to the Disney store anyway- do they sell disney dollars there? If so, I can return those before we go and get some Disney dollars to do the same as you (surprising with the disney dollars when we tell them). Can anyone let me know if the Disney store sells disney dollars?

Oh I was so wanting to do that... but I ended up making our flight a little later so we'd miss rush hour traffic in Dallas. I wouldn't wish that traffic on my worst enemy and I didn't want to be late! I bet that was so cool though...

Yes, unless it has changed in the past year, you can get Disney Dollars at the Disney store. I did this one year at Christmas as a way to let everyone know we were headed to Disney!
