How is everyone doing? We've been having some really bad weather up here. Lots of cold and snow. Road travel has been dangerous. Lots of accidents. Every day before I get in the car. I envision my drive to work or home. My drive is swift, but uneventful. Then I send Thanks out to the universe for having a car that starts on the first try and for my drive being safe and uneventful. Then I start my car which starts immediately. No matter how snowy and slippery the roads, my drive is safe and uneventful although the trip is a little longer. I have also noticed that other drivers are being cautious and courteous. I am much less stressed with winter driving this year.

Hi everyone!

Did anyone by chance see "beyond positive thinking" ?? It was a one night only thing (movie not live seminar) last thursday and was 18.00 a ticket. It was playing at select theaters. I wanted to go but it was at 7 and wouldn't have made it. There were a panel of speakers we've all heard of from the secret and positive thinking seminars.
Anyway was wondering if any here went.

Bookmarking this thread to read it later. I've read the book, and it kind of turned me off, but I can't remember why. I'm going to read it again this weekend and then come back to this thread and read everyone's responses.

I had a hard time reconciling rape and other horrible crimes with this book but I can't say why. I'll have to reread the book so I can comment later.

Those quotes I get Monday-Friday, some are totally out there and then there are some that make you think.

That version of that Somewhere over the Rainbow is so pretty. I've heard it many times but honestly never heard of Isreal Kamakawiwo Ole. He does a beautiful job.

I just discovered this thread and have read to page 23. I absolutely love it. I read "The Secret" while vacationing at VB, about a month ago, and began to make changes to the way I think. I've already seen the power of the LOA. I'm planning on reading "A New Earth" next. Anywho, how come nobody has posted on this thread in awhile?

Me too, accept I use a vision notebook, I write in it, paste pictures, make "wishes". Keeps me focused.
