Pop and AoA tend to be the furthest out because they’re the only resorts afaik that use the articulated buses. So they need more space to park. At AK at least, the MK area Deluxes are literally the first stops when you get to the area from the park exit. Contemporary and then Poly/GF.
The “perk” is staying at a Deluxe.

I mean logistically speaking you have fewer guests at Deluxes than Values. Thus there is less demand for those buses. This “perk” you want would just lead to needless congestion. As a Deluxe guest, I wouldn’t consider sitting in traffic on a half empty bus, surrounded by similarly half empty buses going to other Deluxe resorts much of a perk. Is it irritating to share? Of course it is. That’s why I Lyft, lol. But like a lot of issues surrounding transportation at Disney, this kind of inherently goes with to running a public transit system in the small city that WDW is.
