My head is spinning... :confused3

Arriving by car in the evening of Feb. 1st, 2 adults and a 12-year old. We'll be at the Wilderness Lodge, checking out on Feb. 5, when we'll switch over to the Swan. (I could be convinced to change check-out day to Feb. 4th or the 6th very easily!) and we are getting the dining plan. Since we can't get it for the Swan, I want to make the most of the plan while at the Lodge. We'll be there 4 nights.

Anyhow, I don't think we'll use any credits the first night, so we'll pay out of pocket for that day.

Sat. Feb. 2, I made reservations for Biergarten, but now I'm thinking I may change them to have lunch and dinner both at the Magic Kingdom-possibly eat at the Crystal Palace? Or go over to the Grand Floridian or The Polynesian for dinner? That's 3 counter-service and 3 table-service credits.

Sun. Feb 3, I'd like to go to the Animal Kingdom, eat lunch there, and since the Magic Kingdom has the extra hours in the evening, go back there once we're done at the Animal Kingdom. Once again, possibly eat dinner at a monorail hotel, or at MK? That's 3 counter-service and 3 table-service credits.

Mon. Feb. 4, I was thinking using of going to the Rose and Crown in Epcot, to possibly watch Illuminations from there? Lunch, probably Chefs de France? Do I need lunch reservations too? That's 3 counter-service and 3 table-service credits.

Checking out of the Wilderness Lodge on Feb. 5, that's our 25th anniversary!! I did get reservations for Le Cellier, at 8:40. We won't be able to see Illuminations at all, right?

We're going to hopefully be checking into the Swan or Dolphin on the 5th, and won't be able to get the dining plan there. So, all our other meals will have to be still planned out, and I am so confused and exhausted trying to figure this out...I need a vacation from planning my vacation!!

O.K. I'm a bit confused  with your TS credits avail. vs. what you have planned. (Maybe I'm mis-understanding what you are wanting to do:rolleyes: )

Feb 2nd: Are you doing Epcot or Mk that day, or both. I'm a bit confused b/c if you do Beirgarten @ Epcot and CP @ MK then that would be 6 TS credits. Not 3 cs and 3 TS. Or were you using a CS somehwere and debating between CP and Biergarten? If that's the case then you are good with 3 TS.

Feb 3rd: Sounds good with lunch @AK. You would use 3 CS credits, and since MK had EMH's why don't you eat at 'Ohana or Kona Cafe (A true JEM!) at the poly then head over to the MK after dinner for EMH's. (3 TS credits) That way you will be close to the MK.

Feb 4th:If you eat at Rose and Crown dining room and also Chefs de France that combined is 6 TS credits, not 3. You should make an ADR for lunch to be on the safe side if you decide you want to do a TS lunch. Maybe I'm missing something. What CS were you talking about on thsi day?

Not sure if I helped you any...I'm now confused! :rotfl:

Thanks, I guess. :rotfl2: For the first day, Feb 2nd, I was thinking of EITHER the Biergarten OR just staying at the Magic Kingdom and going to the Crystal Palace. Not BOTH. The more I think about it, the more I think our first day, we should just stick to the Magic Kingdom, OR go to a monorail hotel for dinner, and not make the trek to Epcot just for dinner. *sigh* That means another phone call!

(Am I safe not planning on any counter-service meals, and just grabbing something wherever we like? Or do we need reservations for them too? Seems like everyone is saying you need reservations for every meal, sometimes!)

Feb. 3rd, lunch at the Animal Kingdom, and dinner at the Magic Kingdom OR a monorail hotel again. If we eat at the Magic Kingom on our first day, we'll try a hotel on this day, or visa versa. Kona Cafe sounds good to me!

Feb 4th: doesn't Les Chefs de France have counter service? I was hoping we could use counter-service credits there for lunch. If they don't, well, we can probably find lunch somewhere!! Kringla Bakeri og Cafe, perhaps?
