tell me I will like vistana resort!!

Hi! I had booked 2 rooms at POFQ, at the AAA rate, 2 rooms for about $1450.00. We were going to do room only, there are 6 of us, my "kids" range in age from 21-12 yrs. Then I saw the pics of the 2 br at Vistana.... and I got the Ent. rate of $149.00/nite (total $830.00 with taxes), so I booked it!!! It's almost half the price, and the only thing we are really giving up is EMH. So, tell me I will like it. And exactly how close is it to WDW? And what places to eat are close to it? Thanks!!!

YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!! Sooo unbelievably close to WDW and like the above poster said, HUGE resort with LOTS of awesome amenities! TONS for the kids to do all day...you don't even have to leave the resort to go to WDW if you don't want to!!!

Hi Scanmom,
Vistana is maybe 10-15 min drive to WDW (can be longer with heavy traffic but rarely longer than 20-25 min). Vistana is located very near (maybe 2 traffic lights away) from Crossroads and the DD entrance. Allow at least 45-60 min to get into the MK though. You can get to the MK parking lot in 15 min, but then allow time to catch the tram in the parking lot and then the monorail or ferry into the MK. So getting to that park will take the longest.
Vistana has two sit down restaurants on property (Zimmies and Flamingo Cafe). They also have an outside eatery called Cascades Bar & Grill as well as a Pizza Hut on site. They have villa delivery for any of these restaurants. Menus will be in your room.
Nearby is a Bennigans (right next door) and all the restaurants at Crossroads (Perkins, Pizzaria Uno, Red Lobster among others) and there is a Bahama Breeze close by on SR 535.
