okay so you can only make ADR 6 months out so lets say I have a 7 day vacation day plan I have 2 wake up all 7 days for example Lets say I am vacationing June 27-July 4th

so I have to wake up on December 27th though Jan 4th to make all of my ADRs

It's 180 days before your arrival date, not 6 months. Here's a date calculator:

http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/pscalc/dispscalc.html

If you're staying at a Disney operated resort you can make reservations by taking advantage of the 180 + 10. This means 180 days before your arrival day you can make reservations for up to the first 10 days of your vacation.

If you are not staying at a Disney operated resort you will have to go online or call everyday and make your reservations one day at a time or wait until the last day of your vacation and you can make them all at once.

thanks for clearing it up so if i was staying at pop for example and arriving June 27 I can make my reservations on December 17th?

You can start making ADRS 180 days out or less days from your vacation but you can't make them 181 or more days out. If you are staying at a disney resort and have the trip booked and have the confirmation number you can book all or up to 10 days on the 180th day out from the first day of your trip. You can also wait till the week before your trip and book but will have a hard time getting restaurants you want cause they will likely be booked up, you can also chance it and make ADRS while you are there or try walk ups and if lucky they may have an opening. I always try for the 180 day mark for the best chance of getting the restaurants I want.

No, if you go to the caculator I linked and input your arrival date it will tell you what is 180 days before that date. It definitely won't be Dec. 17.

I just tried June 27 and 180 days before that is Dec. 29, 2012.

Since you're staying at Pop you'll be able to make all your reservations starting on Dec 29.

Online res open at 6 AM Eastern Time.

Phone res open at 7 AM Eastern Time.

I don't think you can just wait till after midnight and start making the ADR I think you have to wait till 6am for the system to change to the next day. Maybe this has changed maybe someone else would know if 6 am eastern time is correct.

you only have to get up once at 180 days from arrival and do ADR'S

That's only if you are booked at a Disney resort already and have the comfirmation number, if not you can only do 1 ADR at that 180 day mark or several ADRs if you are doing say lunch and dinner or breakfast, lunch and dinner on the same day.

True, 6am eastern for online, 7am eastern for phone.
