Tell me I am not crazy for this!!!....

We have never been to WDW in May, but I just booked a last minute trip for the 21st-26th!! Yeah! But...are there going to be a ton of people that week? We usually go in Dec. before it gets crazy, so I don't know what to expect. Also, is it unbearably hot? I am in Tx, and it's pretty hot here already. Just wanting to get some feed back on this last minute decision!!

Our very first visit to WDW was during this time frame. We found it to be a moderately croweded time. I don't remember the first part of the week being too bad, but you could definitely tell a difference on Friday, when the Memorial Day weekend crowd started coming in.

Was it hot? Well Disney Mommy 3---you're from Texas and I'm from Alabama, so we both know heat,....but I do remember that it was hot when we went that week. I remember my DDs whining about how hot it was waiting on a parade,till I finally caved and bought those $17 mister/fans.

Our first trip to WDW was in 2005 and we left there to come home on Friday morning before Memorial Day weekend. There were crowds that week but nothing too bad. MK was probably the most crowded.

I'm from Texas too, Dallas-Fort Worth to be exact, and can tell you that Florida is hot in May! It wasn't any hotter than it is here, but I can remember there being a couple days that I was like "SHEESH"!!!!!! The only difference for me between Texas heat and WDW heat in Florida is that I can walk in the house and turn on the AC in Texas!!! In WDW you just suck it up and try to find a shady spot to watch the parade!!!!!!!
