Ok it will be my first time. I have 2,4,8 and 12 year old. We are excited is there stuff for my l ones and big ones. We are doing 2 parks for 5 days. Any advice how is the cost of food? let me know all i need to know

yes there is stuff for all age groups. the big ones can ride the mummy, hulk, dueling dragons, and dr. doom to name a few. the little ones would love dr. seuss land and woody woodpecker's playzone, and jimmy neutron. they would both love shrek4d, jaws, back to the future, mib, dudley do-right, and many more. for food, i love mel's drive thru (which isnt a drive thru), the nascar cafe, nba city, and the hard rock cafe. all of my kids love these places. i hope this helped

Food like anything theme park is pricey. I know a bottle of coke is $2.66 and a bag of candy(M&MS and Skittles) is $1.88, pricey but cheaper then Disney.

You didn't mention where you are staying, do you have a car with you? I find the USO and Citywalk restaurants more expensive than Disney.
There are several cheaper options at each park but all are counter service restaurants. The real bargains are in the surrounding areas and with all your children I would think it would be the best choice. The restaurants at all the onsite hotels are extremely expensive! I would do a grocery stop and do either breakfast or a quick lunch in the room and leave either a lunch or dinner for the restaurants (if you must). I've never taken a vehicle because I usually go alone but if I were to go with a large family I would definitely look at the surrounding restaurants. I understand there are plenty that offer good deals. Keep asking questions here you'll find there is a wealth of information to be had. Have a wonderful time. :teeth:

There's a sticky at the top of the board with Universal menus that I found helpful.

I think one thing Disney could learn from Universal is quick food service. US has much better choices, better food, and more frequent. Plus I like that they offer AP and AAA members discounts!
We ate at Emeril's last Sunday. Ohhh, it was SO good! :cool1:
