Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could give me some info on getting one of these while in WDW, where, how, etc.?

Any info you have would be great!

Thanks a bunch!!! :wave2:

here's my $.02:

they're not that great unless you really really like white chocolate. they are very beautiful, especially with the chocolate silk screen on the plate. and they are certainly unique. but in the taste department, i'd rather have something else.

we only had them when we taste tested for our wedding, so i can't help you with the rest.

I agree with caitycaity, you really have to love white chocolate. The slipper is beautiful as is the decorated plate it comes on.

They make them at the Grand Floridian bakery. We ordered one and had it delivered to the afternoon tea. It was a nice surprise. They were $8 in March but I hear they are $14 now. There seems to be some discrepancy as to where it can be delivered. I was told by the manager that it can be delivered to any WDW restaurant. Others have been told differently. ;) that seems to be the Disney way though.

There are pictures over on the restaurant board. They also have the dog bones and the chocolate Mickey and the castle cake for sale as well. They can get pricey.

I surprised my mom with them when we went in May... she had never heard of them, and it was nice to be able to surprise a Disney-aholic and CM with something unheard of! She's been showing pics of it to all the other CMs she works with ;)

Its more about presentation than anything else, however, we easily consumed ours =) but, we love all things chocolate, and that dark chocolate teardrop was yummy!!!!!!

We had lunch at the GF Cafe and then they came out and presented them for us... I have pics of them, but for some reason, I can't get any pics to show up on here. I am beginnign to wonder if pics on Snapfish work. Thats where they are all saved...

They were gorgeous. Def a special thing for a special occasion =)

Thanks,

So I'd just need to call the bakery at the GF? Does anyone know the number?

Thanks all!

I thought I had kept the number. I spoke with Reggie at the Gardenview Lounge. You can call Disney Dining 407-W-Disney and get the direct number.

Actually, I think the number is 407-WDW-DINE. :wave2:

Really? I can always get to dining and all that with the WDISNEY #. Thanks, that is good info to know.

The direct number is in the thread I gave you the link to in your other thread on this. ;) Did that just make sense? :teeth:
