Tell me about the House of Blues Gospel brunch . . .

We are considering this for our trip this September. The food/menu looks fabulous, as we are from Lousiana! Is the food as good as it looks?

We have a wide range of ages . . . 15, 12, and 11 months old. Is the music going to be too loud for the baby?

What about the song interaction? Does it seem "pushy/in your face", or just fun and enthusiastic? I like Gospel music, but we don't normally worship in this style, and I'm wondering if the "show" might be a little overwhelming to the rest of my family.

Any other tips or input? Thanks much!

We did the Gospel Brunch at House of Blues in Las Vegasthis past November. It was great fun, we are originally from Texas so we loved the "country" breakfast. The entertainment was well worth the money alone, many different singers and songs and they really tried to get the crowd involved. Once you are seated we had about 45 minutes until the show portion started, so it was plenty of time to eat and get full until showtime. We also purchased an "unlimited mimosa" pass that for $10.00 allowed us all the mimosas we could drink, don't know if they do that in Orlando. If you have the time you should go it is well worth the money.....

We did this about three years ago...I must admit that the food was fabulous!!! My only complaint is that they did not give you enough time to eat before the show started. You are seated at tables for (I think) 10 people. The show was OK...better if you like gospel music. The musicians really tried to get the audience involved...standing up, clapping, etc. It wasn't in your face though, and it wasn't overly rock concert loud, but not soft either. I didn't think my kids (22 and 18) liked it, but they do want to go back. I would go back just for the food!!!
