My kids were 4 and 5, so younger... from what I could see, there is a lot of shaded areas with sand, sand toys, a splash area, and I think some play structures. We took the kids after lunch and they had mandatory water breaks, but I do believe they will take the kids to lunch if the kids are there early enough. My kids are 10 and 7, what kind of activities do they have for kids that age? Did your kids have fun? Do they have food and drink? Would love to go over to a Serenity Bay for an hour two.
i probably also depends on who else is there.
I would agree with that. If only all of our older kids would go at the same time, hang out with each other, and make their own fun!![]()
DS still can't tell me what he felt was so babyish, but it just bugged him. It's not *meant* to be just for the littles, so it has boggled my mind. He's not generally one to complain of such things.
My boys were 9 and 10 our first cruise and they had the CM text us within 30 minutes of us dropping them off. :-( all kids are different but they described it as being for "babies". Lol Maybe your kids will love it.
Do the wave phones work at Serenity Bay?
Sorry. Scuttle's Cove is the land version of the Oceaneer's Club/Lab, so ages 3-11 and no parents. I was allowed to go in to get my son, but didn't feel right hanging out in there when he asked me to be allowed to finish the flag football game to the next point. I had him promise to come out when the next point was scored and went to wait for him by the entrance.I can't seem to find the answer to my question anywhere, so don't mind if I chime in with it! We cruise in two and a half weeks (YAY!) and my daughter is 2.5. Will she be able to play at Scuttle's Cove - with us being there with her of course - or is it like the kids' club and for the 3 and over crowd only (and no parents)? It sounds like there are some play structures, bubbles, water features, etc - all of which she'd love!
They play volleyball and soccer and a lot of really cool games that could only be done outside.
