Great that you have decided on Hotel New York after exploring suggestions last year :goodvibes Have a look at the excellent Hotel FAQ sticky which will give you an idea of the hotel.

Those who have stayed here rate it very highly so I doubt there will be to much negative views :goodvibes

We love the hotel New York, it's very cosy and the service is great.
Out of al the hotels, if we can't quite afford DLPH or it's full we always go for New York.
The rooms are spacious and comfy and your in great walking distance to Disney Village or Character breakfast at Cafe Mickey.
Cocktail bar is one of our favourites lol

I would say that probably the only downside to the New York is that there isn't really anywhere to just sit down in the public areas, other than the bar - though it's a very nice bar!! ;) This is also the same at the Newport Bay, whereas the Sequoia Lodge bar/lounge part is much bigger and more open and it doesn't feel like you have to order a drink just to sit down. I have to say this is something that has never bothered me at either the New York or Newport Bay - we are either at the parks, having a coffee/drink in the bar or in our room. But it's something that has been asked before and I thought you might like to know.

Personally I love the HNY. We dismissed it for years, just on the look and decor of the place. But when we tried it for a change of scene, we loved the place. Very good location and the rooms are spacious and comfortable :goodvibes

There are some great photos of the hotel here

Thanks for the PICS Becky!!:thumbsup2 Looking forward to stay there in Aug.

The rooms kinda reminds me of the contemporary hotel in WDW!;) Oh, love seeing my baseball team logo!!;)
