Tell me about character breakfast at Paradise Pier

We will be going in 2 weeks.....we do all the character meals, but have never done the one at Paradise Pier. Is it still Lilo and Stitch? If not, what characters are there? What is the food quality and selection like? Is it a long walk from the Grand Cal Hotel (we have been to the DL and all over Downtown Disney, but not to PP?? Any comments are helpful!

Also, how is the restaurant for dinner (non-character meal)?

It's Mickey's Surfs Up now. I went last month. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Stitch, and someone else (can't remember right now). The buffet was very nice. They've changed a few of the items since they changed the theme. One new thing was chocolate peanut butter banana french toast, it was very good.

Pluto? At least he was hanging out there last time we went, but it was still Lilo & Stitch's breakfast then.

The walk really isn't bad from Grand Californian. You leave through the main entrance, walk down towards the street, cross at the lights and then you're already at PP. Depending if the traffic lights are red about three minutes walk I'd say.
