We are considering getting the Deluxe DDP this trip. If we do, we will plan on TS breakfast, snacks for lunch, and signature for dinner. We have never done breakfast before, so I'm unsure as to what the best restaurants are. Characters are ok, but we'd rather have good food!

Most of the breakfast buffets serve the same type of food. Eggs, assorted meats, waffles, cereals, muffins, pastries, fruit, yogurt etc. The only breakfast TS place I've eaten at that wasnt a buffet was Maya Grill at the Coronado Resort. The food there was pretty good. They had the best tea there that I have ever had at Disney. In order to get a non-buffet TS breakfast you would have to eat at one of the resorts.

The Wave at the Contemporary for breakfast. We also like
Olivia's at Old Key West.

The Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is awesome!
DH loves the Tonga Toast, and I have to have the Somoan. And the coffe is good too!!

Boma for breakfast was awesome. They have the standard and not so standard fare. The not so standard are Afican inspired. They have this ham with a mustard type glaze out of this world fantastic. They have an African poridge, and a spicey corned beef hash (not the canned stuff) that was really good. They also have an omlete station. It's is now a must do for us.

We love to have breakfast at Disney. However we prefer to do a buffet one morning then switch to a menu type the following morning so that we get a good mix of different items/variety. Naturally you'll get some of the same things but different restaurants have special or signature items that mix it up a bit.

Ohana, Boma and Kona are my must-do breakfasts when in the World!

My favorite sit down breakfast on property is at Kouzzina. They offer a couple of plates that are standard American fare, but they also have a couple of of interesting dishes that take that standard fare and combine it with some Mediterranean indredients that work really well in their application. They do a dish that is two poached eggs, topped with an artichoke spread on a bed of sweet potato hash that is excellent. It comes with olive bread and I always order one of their excellent Bloody Marys with it. It's a fantastic breakfast.

Next to that, I also really enjoy the breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe, the breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe (Animal Kingdom location only) and the breakfast at Olivia's Cafe.

Kona, GF Cafe, Olivias, Cape May Clambake....these are great ones!
