How have you guys done on Christmas cruises worth it? How was the experience?
Personally, a Christmas themed cruise is the only themed cruise I'd do. We've done a couple of them and enjoyed them. How have you guys done on Christmas cruises worth it? How was the experience?
Well, I cruise for the cruise experience. Christmas is my favorite season, so a touch of Christmas on a cruise is fine. But I'm not enamored of a cruise that's overtaken by themeing.tell me about the experience! I’m on the edge to book!
Star Wars day at sea was so lame…I’ll be honest they took nice pics I have to wait for my book to ship!View attachment 652303
While I will say a Merrytime cruise is better than a "regular" one, I do wish they would change the dang music loop to holiday-oriented in the passageways.
Yeah, sometimes I don't think the boats "get it" about music likes the parks do. We used to spend every Christmas at the Poly when the kids were young. Upon arrival, I would hear "Numbah One Day of Christmas" or " Kani Kani Pele" or " E Aloha 'E " and YOU JUST KNEW that NOW it was Christmastime. I don't feel anything like that when I board.I would think the holiday music would be a sure bet thing the whole time!
They do. Or at least they did the one time I did one. It wasn't 100% Christmas but they were definitely mixed in.While I will say a Merrytime cruise is better than a "regular" one, I do wish they would change the dang music loop to holiday-oriented in the passageways.
They have both Christmas and non Christmas backdrops, but the characters are all in Christmas outfits (except the princesses.)Silly question but for those who did the cruise is it like Star Wars day at sea where one day is the real themed day with different photo backdrops and characters or the whole cruise is Christmas photos and backdrops?
