I hate how everyone is suddenly forgetting all the bad things gary did because amber whines a lot! Does anyone remember last season when she was STRANDED with her BABY across town and he got her voicemail and went to sleep for hours without calling her back? What about last night when he was letting his parents joke about her family with her sitting right there? And making her walk home when she wanted to leave? No, gary is NOT a great guy. Amber is stressed out and very snotty sometimes, but Gary isn't god's gift to healthy relationships either.

I love maci, and I really like her new boyfriend. I wish ryan would stop giving bentley the pacifier!

I really wish Farrah's parents weren't completely insane. Her mom sounds like she's constantly drunk and whenever they're together she just ignores farrah and acts like sophia is her child! When farrah was pregnant and ready to give birth she was visiting the hospital and asking the nurse how they induce labor and a few other questions and her mom just said, "eww farah, why did you ask that!?" and no one would tell farrah what they were going to do to her. And when her boyfriend died her mom wouldn't let her talk about it at all. NOT a healthy relationship at all. I hate it when people say farrah is spoiled. She's a child who doesn't have a family who loves and supports her and she's having to raise another child all by herself and she's doing it on national television! I'd be a whining mess too!

I think catelynn and tyler were taken advantage of. They clearly do not understand what an open adoption is. The parents they adopted to didn't even want an open adoption, but agreed to have one. I think they were afraid catelynn and tyler would back out and they were trying to make the offer as attractive as possible. No one along the line ever told them that it wasn't what they expected and now they're having to deal with a situation that they weren't prepared for and they don't understand. Clearly they're both wrapped up in that moment where they gave the child up for adoption and can't move past it.

I got really irritated by mtv's teen pregnancy commercials. Teen pregnancy is not 100% preventable, mtv!

I couldn't believe how dirty Gary & Amber's house was. I would be absolutely horrified if my house looked like that and was shown on national tv.

Farrah didn't only leave Sophia on the bed, before that she left her sitting on the shelf while she was wiring the money. Even though Farrah was standing right next to her, she could have easily fallen before Farrah could hold onto her. Farrah defianately needs not only some parenting skills but living in the real world on her own skills. I do feel bad for her, I really do think she's doing the best she can with what she knows how to do. That whole family just screams dysfunction. I hope she can find a good support system.

I love Maci too but was surprised when she put Bentley in the go-carts. Probably not the best move.

Tyler did acknowledge that he was having some issues within himself and that he was taking them out on Caitlin unreasonably. They both have potential and wish like others have posted, they would get an opportunity to make a better life for themselves.

Hee hee. Our daughter has ridden in the race cars on our past three visits to WDW, and even though she has experience with them (even driving them) she still gets double checked too see if she meets the height requirement (she just makes it).

cant stand catelynn/tyler. she makes me sick(cant stand her braces) and his hat drives me crazy. amber and gary yuch...shes a witch(with a b) and hes a pig.get a job buddy...

the only one i enjoy watching is maci...both she and bentley are adorable. i hope kyle treats them both good.

I watch the show but I can't believe protective services has not been to some of these homes. Amber and Gary are horrible parents. The way they treat that child "on camera" is horrible. One can only imagine what goes on when the camera is off. I feel very bad for that baby! Farrah and the mom must have very deep problems. The mom was probably abused growing up and she passed it on to Farrah in the way she raised her. It's painful to watch because you can see they are very troubled people. I think that Micheal is Farrah's real father because she looks just like him. But why does Farrah and the mother refer to him as Micheal??

Those MTV camera crews have some responsibility to keep those kids from being injured if they are in imminent danger. And letting a kid that small ride in a go-kart? What a dumb idea!

I don't think Tyler and Caitlyn were "scammed" into the adoption. I just don't think they truely understood what an open adoption is. And everyone in their families were against it (and losers) so I doubt the would have helped them figure it out. My sister gave up her baby at 18. She has an open adoption but she went into it know exactly what it was. She didn't go in with false expectations of how much she would get to see her daughter. She gets pictures, emails and sees her about once or twice a year. Her daughter wants to continue to be in her life when she is older. Where my sister gave birth the state requires mom giving up their babies to spend 3 days in the hospital taking complete care of the babies. I'm not sure if Caitlyn had to do that. I think they would have been better of with a closed adoption. It may have made it easier to move on.

Not sure how Cailtyn did it, but I do have a neighbor who got both her boys' braces on welfare or whatever the state health insurance is. She told me they paid for it all, she just couldnt choose the doctor. Again, not making any assumptions about Caitlyn.

I also feel so bad for Farrah. Yes, she seems spoiled on the outside, but it's because of the way she was raised. Her mom's a control freak who clearly would never let Farrah make her own decisions ect., and they really never taught her anything about the real world. For goodness sake, she couldn't even write a check, not even part of it. I felt so bad for her last night when she got scammed out of $3000. I always wondered how those scammers worked, but I guess if you really were never taught anything; I guess you wouldn't know any better. I just can't believe she wired the money before she found out if the check cleared
I like Maci a lot too, although in my opinion, I think it's a little soon to be introducing Bently to the new "boyfriend," but she seems to by far have it the most together.
Catelynn and Tyler need to break up. They're only holding on to eachother because they have no other support in their lives, which is not a reason to stay together; and the thing with the phone records was just crazy. They need to be done.

I'm not sure how teen pregnancy isn't 100% preventable though. If you don't have sex, you can't get pregnant.

I honestly Don't think MI requires that Mom's giving up babies spend time in Hosp. caring for babies. I do know that the adoption agency Catlynn and Tyler went through does have a lot of support systems in place for both Adoptive and birth parents as My parents were looking into adopting a child and I spent way more time in adoption agency offices than I cared to think about.

I think Maci only introduced her boyfriend to Bentley this soon because she already has a history with this person and knows it can at least last for a bit.

I know personally, I've always felt 6 months was a good amount of time before introducing a 'new significant other' to a child, but I can't get around the sense of her logic. She said herself, she didn't want to go official or really move forward with someone that wouldn't work well with Bentley. Makes sense.

I really don't think she would have done it though if it was someone she was starting fresh with.

Yes, what was THIS SCAM with the $3,000.00???

The scam works like this. You seel a high ticket item over the net, and somebody responds, interested in your item. They agree to buy it, and send you a check, but for over the amount of the purchase price. The overage is then used to help pay for shipping or whatever, and sometimes a bit extra for your (the seller's trouble). The buyer will usually say something like, they don't have a checking acoount or they can use their account for some reason. The check looks offical, but it is actually a fake.

So you get the check from the buyer and deposit it in the bank. However the buyer asks you to immediately wire the overage to them so they can pay to have the item shipped (like setting up with a shipping company to move a car from state A to state B -- only they aren't really doing this.)

So you have deposited the check, the bank is showing you have $8,000 and allows you the same day of your deposit to withdraw $3,000. Most banks credit deposits first so even if your available balance is $200, the funds availabel for your account will show $8200 since the deposit will be credited first thing in the morning. And most banks no longer have that "deposits must be made before 2 p.m." rule -- my own bank goes to 4 p.m.

So you have withdrawn $3000 in cash that you think is available to you and you wire it to the buyer so he can set up the shipping.

However, the next day the bank goes to "clear" the check and finds it is a fake, but you have taken $3000 out of your account, thereby, like Farrah putting you in the hole.

I don;t know about you, but my bank also has a rule that funds from out of state have a 10 day waiting period before the funds becme available. Why doesn't Farrah's bank have this rule...unless the fake check was from in state, and then why couldn't the "buyer" come pick up the car his/herself? But we know it was a scam.

This is also how the Nigerian chain emails work as well.

In some states, children under 18 (or 21) can get certain dental procedures free. Its considered child abuse to not have children's teeth taken care of (because if an infection sets up so close to the brain can be fatal, very quickly) so its quite possible that she has had her dental care provided by a health department for no charge to her (or her parents)
