Teen Mom

I cried too over Caitlynn and Tyler meeting Carly but they truly seemed at peace with their decision and just had such pure looks of joy on their faces. Very bittersweet.

As for Amber I can't believe Mr. Creepy is living with her already and taking care of Leah, yikes!

I really like Maci and I hope things work out for her and Bentley.

Farrah - I couldn't help but sneer at the screen when she was complaining about the house to her mom during that fight. Her inability to rationalize drives me insane. At some point the excuses about her personality die down and she just needs to step up tot he plate. She's come a long way, but she unfortunately reverts back to her bratty behavior whenever she doesn't get her way.

Catelyn/Tyler - very happy for them. It was definitely a teary episode. Carly looks just like Tyler. Hopefully it helps them move forward rather than backward.

Maci - her adult behavior consistently surprises me. She's a great mother and truly shows people how to put a child first, yourself second. I hope she gets a nice break from the stress soon and good things start heading her way.

Amber/Gary - My lord she's a train wreck. Anyone else cringe when Chris changed Leah's diaper? I think it's the first time I've seen her apartment mildly clean, but that's about the only props I can give the little weirdo. All the clips showed Chris taking care of Leah... pretty sure she's really excited that she can lay around in bed all day now. I was a bit surprised that Gary hit her with the door although I don't think it was intentional. I admit though, I thought 'serves ya right' since she was trying to keep it shut so he couldn't leave and flipped his hat off his head - typical Amber. I really don't get what she's crying about honestly... she clearly doesn't want to be with him.... must be the fact that she doesn't have him to fall back on now. That's always a nice blow to the ego/heart. I did love Leah saying, 'quiet. Now.' at Amber. I was thinkin' the same thing!

What is wrong with this statement..."Chris just got out of the halfway house and had no place to go so I let him move in with me and my DD". He was cleaning the house so Amber can rest. Cant imagine how she lost that weight when we see her on the couch. I was so creeped out how Chris was changing Lea in the other room and looked up at the camera like they snuck up on him it creeped me out. I agree with Gary that he shouldnt be changing Leas diaper.C/T and the baby scenes made me cry. When Carly was crunching her little nose it looked just like C.I feel bad that they had to give up the baby because they had such a unstable home life. Im glad that Cat mom called her and was kind of there for her. I think baby will have a great life. I think someday they will make great parents because they had a terrible life and want better . I just wish they get there act together and finish school and get away from drug addicted parents.

I loved watching Tyler, Catelynn and Carly, that baby is adorable. I think she looks like Tyler, but has Catelynn's expressions. What a little cutie! It must be hard, but they both know that they did the right thing. Although I am sure they both would be good parents, they just don't have a good support system at all at home.

What was up with Ryan asking Maci if "she ever thought about them" being together? Like why even ask? :confused3

Farrah, jees what are you complaining about?!?!?! Just shush, seriously, and her friend who comes and tries to talk her into continuing her bratty behavior irks me to no end.
o and...what was hanging in Farrah's mother's house above the couch? It looked like a HUGE DEAD SQUIRREL! What was that and who advised her to use it as a decoration?!?!?!

And finally....Amber...OMG...
Ok 1st, I think Creepy Chris is really child molester Chris, I do, how could there be 2 people who look EXACTLY alike with the same 1st name in the area? And, I agree with Gary, I would not let that man touch my daughter, dress my daughter, bathe my daughter, etc. She is so numb! And to let him stay there after knowing him for what...lets say a month?!?! :scared1: She's def. one of those girls that "needs a man" to be "happy".
And again, there she is...laying on the mattress while someone else cleans her house and watches her kiddo. Yes by golly Amber, your right...YOU ARE A GOOD MOTHER :headache:
Poor Leah, you could tell how she has been spoken to by her mother "Quiet", yeah I am sure she has heard that from mommy dearest a million times in one day b/c she wasn't able to get her 5 hour nap in ugh. Amber's voice is just so annoying....

Amber~ It is like watching a train wreck with this girl. You know a guy for a few weeks and let him move into your house with your young daughter. Uhhh no. The fact that he was in jail until he came to live with her should set off some kind of warning bells in her head. And while I in no way condone violence I kinda wanted Gary to slap her when he found out that Chris had been changing their daughter. I hope Gary gets Leah and runs far far away.

Farrah~ I felt for her last week and this week she was back to her old ways. She wants a professional relationship with her mom when it comes to her renting the house but whines when her mom wants to do it that way. I see nothing wrong with her having to pay for the two weeks she moved in, she would have to anywhere else.

Maci~ She is my favorite and I am so glad she put Bentley's well being before her own and allowed Ryan to have those extra days with him. I thought the whole thing was very civil and hope they can continue that in the future.

Catelynn~ I cried when Catelynn and Tyler got to see Carly. They were very mature about the whole situation. I thought that the 5 of them interacted really well together and Brandon and Teresa looked genuinely happy with the visit and everything that happened. I especially loved Catelynn and Teresa's talk about April. If Carly ever questions why her birth parents gave her up all she needs to see is five minutes of April on the show and she will get it.

Just watched it this morning. The only story I really cared to follow was Catelynn/Tyler.

My gosh, Carly is just a cutie! She seemed to be entranced by Tyler--she clearly already loves him. She definately has Catelynn's blue-blue eyes, but Tyler's personality.

I hope it all works out with April, and that they get out of there as soon as they can.

Maci--hope she finds someone who'll love her and Bentley.

Amber--...I hope she finds a good lawyer/therapist. Same with Leah.

Farrah--all I can say is, Julian is cute.

Amber is such a train wreck!!! The creepy Chris should be no where near Leah! I hope Gary gets her and goes far away thats the only chance she has is to get away from that person she is supposed to call Mom!!

Maci- very mature young lady....hope all goes well for her and she finds a nice man she deserves it!

Farrah is very immature why was is ok for her to give her mom her demands but once her mom gives her the lease to sign she acts like an immature brat??? And why is her dad not involved in too much of anything other than watching the baby???

Catelyn~Just love her I hope they get their education and go to college to get away from April (shes a trainwreck also maybe she really is Ambers mom and not Catelyns!!!?) I think her and Tyler will end up together...What about when he said we make cute babies.....how cute!!!

I know MTV is starting a new season in a few weeks but do you think they will continue with these 4?? I hope so!

I heard they were filming right now with the same people.

I love Maci. I cried when she started to cry about giving more days. I know that had to be hard for her. Did I read that she was back with Kyle or Ryan. I know I heard she was with one of them. I did not really care for Kyle. I think she can do better.

Amber needs to have her baby taken from her. She needs to take a few lessons from Maci on being a mother! I hated watching the scenes with her and chris and him with the baby! I felt sick to my stomach at what could happen to her and her mother would just sit on the couch.

I cried when I saw Tyler and Catlynn. What an amazing relationship they have with the adoptive parents. I am not sure I could do that if I adopted but it seems to work for all of them. I just thought all the scenes with them were great and touching.

Farrah is very immature why was is ok for her to give her mom her demands but once her mom gives her the lease to sign she acts like an immature brat??? And why is her dad not involved in too much of anything other than watching the baby???
I thought Michael was her step-dad?? :confused3

Anyway, Farrah has a "why-me" + entitlement complex. She only wants to find someone to take care of her. She does fine with Sophia, but she really does want a man.

It's obvious there is a lot more going on than we know since it seems that both sides of the family (Farrah's and Derek's) don't trust the other one. Debra has animosity toward's Derek and his family doesn't trust Farrah (like when she was at the lawyer's office trying to get the DNA test - Derek's sis said she didn't want to take the test until she was positive the money would go to Sophia and not Farrah). Farrah holds in a lot too. There is waaaaaay more going on with her than we'll ever know.

I just started watching last nights show. Leah's reaction to meeting Chris was the funniest thing Ive seen all season. That child basically said "screw this crap, I'm outa here" that Chris guy is so creepy!

I just saw that part where Amber said that she was allowing Chris to move in with her and Leah because he has nowhere else to go. Then he told her that he could see him spending the rest of his life with her, then asking for the keys to the car!!! Yeah, this can't end well...

Farrah - I couldn't help but sneer at the screen when she was complaining about the house to her mom during that fight. Her inability to rationalize drives me insane.
Yeah, Farrah and her mom are BOTH WRONG in this situation. Farrah fails to realize that her mom did her a huge favor by letting her move in early -- house finished or not. And she doesn't seem to "get" that you can't demand to be treated like any other tennant and then whine about an application fee/credit check. And who rents a whole house for $500? She doesn't understand that she's getting a major break. Mom is wrong for not being clear upfront on her expectation of pro-rated rent. And mom is clearly trying to be snarky and teach Farrah a lesson with the credit check -- is she really going to turn away her daughter/grandchild?
Catelyn/Tyler - very happy for them. It was definitely a teary episode. Carly looks just like Tyler. Hopefully it helps them move forward rather than backward.
Yeah, Catelynn seems to be one of the best moms on the show -- playful, involved. I was glad that they said to each other that seeing her cemented in their mind that they'd made the right decision.
Amber/Gary - My lord she's a train wreck. Anyone else cringe when Chris changed Leah's diaper?
Holy cow, yes! Gary was TOTALLY RIGHT to become enraged about that, and I can't believe he essentially dropped the topic to keep the peace. That should've been a sticking point because Amber is clearly in denial about this Chris guy. If Gary doesn't protect Leah, no one will.
Maci- very mature young lady....hope all goes well for her and she finds a nice man she deserves it!
I think she only appears mature and put together in comparison to the other girls on the show. She's made some boneheaded choices: Moving away for the sake of a guy, removing herself from her support system when she clearly needs it, and on a previous episode she wasn't doing all that well in community college. Yeah, compared to Farrah and Amber she's a saint. She does seem to take good care of Bentley, but it seems that her #1 priority -- or at least her priority equal to Bentley -- is finding herself a husband. Remember she's probably only 18-19 at this point. Yet she seems almost desperate.

She doesn't want to be alone so she moved in some convict, nice.:headache: She's so freaking lazy, she can't even change her own daughter. Gary should've taken Leah right then and there. I think she cried b/c she knows that might not look good in court. I love how Leah told Amber "Quiet, Now". Gee, where'd she get that from?

Farrah~ I felt for her last week and this week she was back to her old ways. She wants a professional relationship with her mom when it comes to her renting the house but whines when her mom wants to do it that way. I see nothing wrong with her having to pay for the two weeks she moved in, she would have to anywhere else.

This, she wants things her way and her way only. She wasn't happy at her old apartment and she's not happy in her mother's rental house. Hard to please much?:rolleyes1

Maci~ She is my favorite and I am so glad she put Bentley's well being before her own and allowed Ryan to have those extra days with him. I thought the whole thing was very civil and hope they can continue that in the future.
I didn't think that it was bad that he got an extra day every other week. I'm glad she gave the day to him.

I loved, loved, loved the 2nd day after breakfast when Carly hugged them both. It was so cute. They made a good decision and they're seeing the benefits of their daughter growing up in a good family and that makes me smile.:lovestruc

and I LOVED that recordable book that Tyler and Catelynn gave Carly, I got teary when they opened it.

can someone explain to me why Ryan is always yawning? Is he bored? I've been in Macy's shoes, mediation is a pain. But she has to realize that its best for Bently, but its also clear that Ryan was only doing this because his parents put him up to it.

As for Farrah, I'm trying to like this girl, but I swear she is such a brat! Her mom allowed her to move in 2 weeks early, she probably watches Sophia for free, and she's allowing Farrah to live in a house that size for $500 a month? That little girl has ALOT of growing up to do!

after seeing the way farrah treated her dad (step dad? not sure since she refers to both him and her mom by their first names from time to time) in the
'unseen moments' clip where he was trying to help her with the apartment move-in i am amazed this man continues to put up with her behaviour. she treated him like a dog servant when he was trying to help install things. what she fails to realize is that the way she behaves with her parents is teaching sophia how to behave down the line with her.

i have not noticed that we've have seen farrah's sister this season. i know there was the falling out last season over farrah's absentee mothering (when she was constantly trying to date and kept leaving sophia with debra). i kind of wonder if the sibling finaly drew the line that the parents seem unable to (and debra should have had farrah fill out every piece of paperwork prior to letting her move into that house, but unless she's going to use the legal system the paperwork is worth nothing with what i suspect will be a nightmare landlord-tenant relationship).

caitlin and tyler-god bless those kids. they made the best decision for carly and i'm so glad they are realizing it and shedding the guilt that's been piled on them.

amber and gary:sad2::sad2::sad2: gary's no winner but he's come SO far as compared to amber. he had good parenting instincts and if he could get his housing/schooling/working situation worked out i realy think leah would do much better with him as primary custodial parent. letting some random guy move in after a couple of weeks:eek::eek: but at least i can say 'random guy' is good at cleaning that squalor. i always wonder why amber's downstair neighbors have not called cps-with all the screaming and fighting on the staircase alone.

macey-just an amazing level headed young woman. i don't know what she's planning on majoring in college-but she has qualities that would lend themselves well to working in counseling. i think, years down the line, bentley is going to be one of those young men that realizes what a great mom they had, and i suspect he will be very respectful of other people (she seems to be and models that behaviour for him).

Is Farrah pregnant again? In the preview for the reunion show, it kind of looked like she was wearing a maternity top.

So has anyone found out what the new boyfriend was really in jail for? I find it irresponsible to let any new boyfriend into your home and have such close interactions with your child, but that is just me. You can't know anyone well enough in less than a month to give them that kind of access to your kids.
