I'm home. The Drs went GREAT! The pressure was up from last week (from 16 to 24) but he said, do a new drop twice a day for the pressure and come back in a month! A month! That's a LONG time for Dr. Seigle!!

I'm confused as to why he isn't seeing me sooner, but happy. I asked if it's ok to ride coasters at Disney, and swim and he said SURE.

SO, no needles today, friends! AND I get to stop thinking about it for a month! I'm really happy!

I basically skipped all 6 pages for today, so I hope nothing but good things have happened. I watched Jo, saw Ab got her permit, read something where someone said Mel's dr. went well... Good day?

We had a two-hour delay for school this morning - it freezing-ly rained all night and there was ice everywhere - which nearly made me late for the iPod appointment. The hard drive was just dead. They could sell me the same thing refurbed, but for the same amount I got a new nano. It's rather a ton less memory, but I still didn't fill the new one, and it's got a much better warranty, and, well, it's CUTE!

So I came home, messed with that, napped, and did a little cleaning up. Mostly, I had my lazy day that I wanted yesterday, but without D or the kids, so...

I am out of several staples, so it's spaghetti and (frozen) meatballs tonight. D went to the office, but should be back here in a little bit. I don't know if I'll be back on tonight or not. He has no trips scheduled this week, and then he's off starting Wed. before our trip to IL, so I just can't get rid of him to get my computer time!

I love Animal Crossing. I was going to get it for the Wii, but My Sims is so similar, I didn't.

So, my MIL did have two blockages in her arteries. They said one's too small to worry about, but the other they had to put a stint in. She should be home tomorrow and back to herself in a week. Thanks for all the positive thoughts.

I finally ordered a new TV today! a 40 inch Samsung..Steve is on the phone now with the cable company!

Got home from work to find Bug asleep. This means he will not want to sleep tonight. I gave the school my new schedule again today. They thought I was supposed to be in at 11 and I told them no at 1. I then gave her the schedule I can work starting next week. I know I have been over this with her several times. I think she is just hoping I will wave a wand and be able to still work the hours.

I swear I'm up most of the night, then awake when KC leaves for work at about 8-9am. I read for an hour and then am tired again and sleep for a few hours. It's killing me. I feel like poo when I wake up the 2nd time, but getting 4 hours the first time isn't enough sleep! I dunno what to do! So annoying!

I'm right there with you on the nap thing, Kat. I always feel worse when I wake up than I did before I went to sleep. Dusty and gross. How's your back?

Dinner is done and cleaned up. We had salad so that's good! Gus is going to bed in a few minutes after his morning melt-down. SD is practicing his guitar. He brought home a progress report from Geometry with a D on it! That's NOT cool. He needs to get that grade WAY WAY up before FL. I am taking him out of school for 5 days! What on earth are we going to do if he's still got a D????
He assures me that he'll get it back on track. I told him in exactly 2 WEEKS I'll be contacting his teacher to talk about the trip and what we need to do to get him prepared! I hope the teacher is receptive....

Oh, I missed Carrie too! Yay~ a new tv is good! Congrats to you!

Ok, I'm off for now. I have to catch up at FB and then I need to order a book online that they didn't have at Borders.

Hope everyone had a good 1st day back. Surprisingly Happy had no problem getting up this morning and was excited to go back to school. Bashful doesnt start back til tomorrow but he is looking forward to it too.

We were good, but I had to wake the kids up even for the two hour delay - I am not looking forward to tomorrow when we actually have to get up ON TIME.

My driveway melted off, but the brick walk to the front door is impassable. I kept meaning to salt it, but never did, and I just took the dog out and had to go through the snowy road.

3. another travel book called An Embarrassment of Mangoes. About a couple who sell everything and buy a boat to sail around the world.
