What is this thing I keep hearing about military members and family getting free tickets? Is there a thread on here? I'm really hoping to take the kids in September of this year if they announce free dining. But maybe this way would be cheaper. I just gotta put the math together. Heck, it might be cheaper just to wait until 2010 so I can save the money. Sorry, just thinking out loud. LOL

SD's braces were almost 7K. I think it totalled about $6600. They offered $1000 off if we prepaid, but that's alot of dough! Almost done with payments now! Thank goodness!

I am definately going to have to take it slow and easy next month at WDW. I was polishing Grandma's silver and just standing there I was feeling pain. Won't stop me at WDW, just have to modify my touring...

Well, back to work tomorrow, I will try to check in at lunch and hopefully at least at night when I get home, January will still be busy but hopefully not as bad as it has been.

Anything good on tv tonight. I miss Amazing race, Dexter and True Blood on Sundays. Hey anyone know when Tudors is supposed to start up again?

Katt- Baylie's braces are $4000. Insurance pays for $1000, then we pay the remainder out in monthly payments. I felt like it was a ton of money, then I saw how much Mel's paying!!!

I'm tired of planning for school. It's offically past fun and on to stressful. I'll be done soon, though and it'll be so nice to be able to hand Baylie her assignment sheet and have her work without her asking what she's supposed to do next.

I just wanted to mention that my MIL is in the hospital. She went to the ER last night with a really bad headache and heavy, numb arms/chest. They said her cholesterol and some enzyme are really high. They don't think it's another brain aneurism, but maybe her heart. They are running test tomorrow, so we'll know more then. She doesn't want us to visit because she's really tired. I'm hoping Kirt will call her in a few and see how she's feeling this afternoon.

I'm crying about the Colts. The radio guys kept saying what terrible officiating was going on, but they were Colts announcers so I'm not sure if they were being totally honest. If it was though, what a terrible way to lose.

loooong day. It usually is when KC works from home and I haven't much to do. We are making a pork shoulder (pernil for the hispanics) and it smells good but wont be done until after 8.

I am uploading my Spring Awakening Concert videos and some of the kitty to YouTube so i can link 'em here too!

As far as the 40% off code, I am going to chat with my friend about it on Wednesday when we see Mary Poppins and wee what she says and how much we should spend and how long we'd go. then I'll spring it on KC and see how he feels. I think if i devise a savings plan now then it'll work out just fine when i "present" the idea to him.

How is everybody? Well, I survived the gym. Did 15 mins on the bike, and then tried the Elliptical machines with SD. HOLY CROW! Those things are HARD! I burnt more calories on that in 3 mins than 10 on the bike! I am psyched to go back and do it again~

Unfortunately, that's where my good day ended.

We sprung Gus from childcare, which he was totally ok with! Yay! And then we all went to change for the pool, which I had promised Gus! So, we change our clothes and SD informs me that he's not swimming. WHY did you change????? Anyway, then we did the swimming thing. With SD NOT participating which is fine with me really. I totally didn't care.

We leave the pool and we're changing back into warm clothes and SD says, "We're going to lunch right?" I said, "NO. I told you the other day that I will NOT BE buying lunch every day we're at the gym. First, it defeats the purpose for me, which is to LOSE weight. Second, it is EXPENSIVE." The gym membership alone is expensive. This is not a hard concept for an almost 16 yr old to grasp. Right?
So, he tells me that he hates me for being so cheap and that he's not coming anymore.

So, before you guys all roll your eyes at me for having a teenager that would DARE to speak to me like that and get away with it. I don't. He is a GREAT kid. He (and Gus) have NEVER spoken to me that way. I did NOT raise them to be brats. They're very well behaved. I was SOOOOOO shocked. I said, "So, you hate me?" He said, "Yeah, right now I do." I said, "I'm sorry you feel that way."

I wish I knew what the deal was today. I wanted to just shut him out and not get into it but I couldn't let it lie. I asked him if he thought that he had a rough life? I informed him that in 2 VERY SHORT years he will be able to pay his OWN bills and he'll find it difficult to maintain the lifestyle he's accustomed to here! Oh well. It was awful anyway. I did tell him that I'd be talking to Bob about what he said to me.

Bob sent him to his room, which is maybe the second time in his WHOLE life that we've done that! He was there all day, until dinner. Then he apologized to me, and said he was just angry and he really did love me. Gosh, teenagers are so hard to figure out.

He could have told me just about anything ELSE and I'd have understood it. But, hate me? That was just weird.

He seems to be over it now. I guess he was just having a moment. BUT, it didn't exactly make my day.

Sorry to blab on and on. It was traumatic.

I'm still waiting on my other Christmas gift. "Twilight" was on back order.

I didn't get much sleep today. I'm having trouble getting back to night mode. To top it off they needed us to work some OT the next 2 weeks. 12 hrs of OT sux. I declined for this week but will work 1 extra night next week.

We are waiting to hear whether or not the plant site I work at is closing or being bought by another pharma co. I'm thinking they will announce something around the last of this month. Everything in the rumor mill is pointing to it being sold. Either way it will be an interesting transition for me this year.

I'd love to join you guys on FB. I'll check it out but I just don't think I have time to keep up with that and everything else I'm involved with on the computer. I want to devote most of my attention to Enchanted now.

I need to get crackin' on the TRs over here. Bye, bye for now.
