I FOUND A Wii!!! Wal-Mart had it in stock, without the stupid bundles.

So I was looking on Ebay for Wii...just don't wanna bite the bullet and spend the money.

This isn't helping your financial siutation any, but... worth every penny! We played every day in MD and we've been playing it here for the past 2 hours. Too much fun!

So anyway, have I missed it or have any of you made resolutions for this year? Any goals?

Yep. I need tough goals to work toward, so... my goal is to feel okay in a BIKINI by end of summer!

And really, am I pathetic that I've never been on Facebook?

We're going to my MIL for it: Cabbage (for Money), Black eyed peas (for luck), and Hog jowls (?? For higher cholesterol??)

DS just woke up! He has a temp of 102.2 and my congestion. I thought he was getting better, guess not. We are nebbing him and started ibuprofen ... again. Poor thing.

Well, the official word on Waldo is ..... GALLSTONES! Yup, gallstones. He'll have to have surgery on an outpatient level. I'm just glad it wasn't his heart.

Do you think it is wise to be on the Fit hop off to eat breakfast, then get back on?

Now I have to ask, what the heck kind of exercise is sitting on your hind end on the Wii Fit board? You'd think with all my hours of DISing that I would be an expert sitter. But I could only manage 87 secs.

And that advanced step thing....yes, be sure to clear the area of all toys, crocs, laptops, dogs, and small children. The purple confused me, I lost my balance, stepped on a light saber, kicked the laptop, threw the light saber at owner and almost landed on the dog. All that to unlock the sitting exercise.

Dude, I thought you knew! I'm ready to fight you for position tomorrow morning in the call queue.

Are all Disney lines closed of just DVC?

They admitted her to the hospital again. Took her up for a contrast CT scan to check to see if any of her vessels could be dissected. Not really sure what that means, but it doesn't sound good.

So, DH is still downtown at the hospital with her mom and dad. Not sure when he'll be home.

The gall bladder is located just behind ones liver. It's not an essential organ, and store the bile made in the liver.
He's only got 1 rather large stone that needs to be removed. He'll keep the organ, but will need to alter his diet. No more french fries for Waldo.

Much thanks to S'late...

I got a pair of sporty Adara's and Disney beach from the outlet and a pair of Mammoths all for $70.00.

I'll save the Adara's for my May trip to DL and Sept trip to WDW, too springy for Feb.

The Disney Beach's were under $15 with S'late's discount. I admit to not liking the Beach's but they are very comfy when in the Mutherland and at the price well, as LL says you have to spend it to save it.

I've been wanting the Mammoths as a slipper for around the house as my feet need the support and with wood floors I end up wearing shoes in the house, the mammoths will be a perfect slipper for me.

Fellow DVC owners - it dawned on me today that I remember paying my annual dues around this time of year, yet I hadn't received my statement, I just logged onto the DVC site and sure enough there is a statement dated 12/17. Thankfully dues aren't due until 1/15, but just in case you didn't receive your statement and you don't want late fees etc... check your account on the DVC site,

We hadn't planned to go again until 2010, but our last trip energized us and restored some magic (saw WDW through my BIL's eyes) and we are dying to go again. You guys would really revoke my DISer card if you knew how the trip went. We did hardly anything but my BIL had the time of his life. He gave my a great hug and said "thanks for making my dreams come true."

Anyhow, I'm thinking of going the 1st week in Sept during free dining and upgrading the tix to AP's. Then in 2010 borrowing 2011 points to stay in the AKV GV again.

So, DH has texted me a few times. MIL is now on some good drugs for pain and they've done a few more CT scans. No word yet on the results though. We'll have to wait and see what they say. Hopefully she won't be admitted again!

Just out of a hot bath. All was wonderful until I opened my eyes to a naked Tink getting in. Then i had to float for an hour whilst Tink was my hair, had a tea party, floated, slid down the side of the tub. My bath turned exhausting.

Apparently the internet connection isn't good enough for KC to work from home so he's at the office until 4. More peace for me. I have been fairly frustrated w him over the past few days, I have been busting my hump running around for him and doing things he usually does so he can have an easy week. My back has been BAD too but I puch through and not once did he say thank you or ask if I was ok. So I broke down yesterday and hopefully he will pay more attention.

I double checked Adams, and I have one that I would like for him to do over. I usually let him correct papers that I can not read, but I overlooked this one. Please forgive me. I will change his grade after he corrects the paper. The new grade of an "A" will be on his next report card. I will send it home when we return from break. I hope you all are having a Great Break!

So Tony comes home from work Tuesday night - stressed out as usual, but there was something different in that wildly aggravated look on his face...

T - "So you wanna hear what my latest offer is?" he says...

Me - "Umm...what offer?"

T - "For work. You know, my JOB..."

Me - "Oh...ok, I give...what's this offer?"

T - "They want me to do the Johns Hopkins project. But I have to commit to finishing out the job."

Me - "Ok, so..."

T - "Well, it ends in 2011..."

Me - "Ok, well, it's a job...more than I can say that I'll have come March. Ummm...where's Johns Hopkins?"

T - "Maryland."

Oooohhhh....I get it now. So he's a bit freaked out - doesn't want to spend 2 years on the road, which I'm not crazy about either. He has no desire to go to Maryland. Yada yada yada. AND he is freaking out prematurely, I think. He doesn't know any details, living arrangements, subsistence, etc...yet...

Well, I haven't heard a thing about my job yet, so I could end up out of work or on a long vacation come March, so I tried telling him he should consider it, we'd work it out, etc...we could possibly move to Maryland...whatever...

So it's freaking him out (remember my Maine freak out?? Well his is a bit magnified, making me look like I was excited about a prospective move to Maine!)...

But hey - it's an option, right?

Who knows...obviously, their opening an office in Atlanta is a pipe dream for them...just not happening. The guy who's there and supposed to be chasing work, pricing work and finding office space...yeah well, I think he's sleeping late, playing a lot of golf or something...sounds like NOTHING is happening there...
